Who will we sign up front in the summer

Villa has everything. Power, pace, heading ability and an excellent finisher. His movement is also very, very, good.

He is, in my opinion, as good a striker as any that is playing today. He's up there with the very best.

Very interesting, lets hope we are in for him in the summer then.

Villa is the better player.

But Torres has bags of potential, yes that old clichee, but needs a proper coach and a new challenge.

He is more complete physically than Villa though.
I think he could be as good as Sheva. They are quite similar imo.

That would imo make Torres a bit of a gamble we also have two physical forwards already so maybe Villa would complement what we already have.

Well, Torres is not an ox, but stronger than Villa.
He makes great runs off the ball, is quick, skillful and a very good finisher with feet and head.

I think the comparism to Sheva is not bad... I try to think of others with a similar style...

Villa looks l;ike a world beater but then so did morientes. Although Villa has the pace and seems to pick up some fantastic positions. From what i have seen torres is better in the air

If Rafa can persuade Villa to come to england this is just the sort of statement we should be making in the summer. Him and alves and they wont be much change from 40-50 Million. Bring it on i say

Don't get me wrong I would not be dissapointed in any way if we happened to sign Torres in the summer. I'm sure he would be an excellent buy and at this stage maybe a bit more of a realistic than target than Villa. Villa is in my opinion the better player though.

If we sign either of the 2 in the summer we'll have signaled our intentions for the season ahead.

Villa is not an out and out striker. He plays in an identicle role to Dirk Kuyt. Torres is very over rated. We need a box player/ goal-hanger but theres not may around/ available. The examples being:

Miroslav klose
Ruud Van Horseface Nistelrooy
Maybe Huntelaar (I've never seen him play)
Or even players like Inzaghi (in his prime) and Montella (Very good striker with good intelligence in the box) - we'd never sign either of these 2 though

Michael Owen, whilst not a strong headerer of the ball he knows how to hit the back of the net.

Lita is a good shout, also think David Nugent could be someone for us to take a chance on. Villa would be my choice from outside the UK.
