    Lita has recently scored against the mancs, the chavs and for Eng U21s, I reckon he could be our nippy poacher that can play off our other strikers, and that he's now ready for the next step up, he knows where the goal is and he's premiership ready, no need to adjust.

      Kurt and Armchair are spot on with regards to Villa over Torres. Villa has it all, and has the 'on pitch attitude' to go with it.

      Torres is unstoppable on his day, but he's up and down like a whores droors. One minute he takes Barca apart by himself, then he goes missing for 2 months.

      Villa, Villa!

      Saying that, Villa will stay put and Torres will go to Scum. We'll buy someone who will grab 10-12 goals a season. He'll fit in well with the others! ;0)

          Personally, I believe villa is as unpredictable as torres is. Both of them are either world-class when the mood takes them, or utter ****e.

          Thats what world class players are though, you cant have 11 of them or you will win **** all ala real madrid.

          But if you want to be at the top table, you need to have 2 or 3 of the likes of these fellas. ****e a lot of the time, but able to do things no-one else can to win you a game the rest of the time.

          Id have both to be honest.

            You could compare Villa to a young Owen but with better skill. He is not as fast as a young Owen but not far off.

            Both of them make the right runs and is good in the box even if the other team plays deep.

            I don't think Owen is an option until 2008. He will need at least six months after he starts playing again to get back 100% IMO.

            Just believe and you never know what will happen.

            According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                In - Torres + 1 other (Voronin has been strongly linked?)

                I dont think Villa will ever be an option due to his reluctance to leave Spain
                I hope that Robbie is kept on at the club in some capacity.

                    Why Gamst Pedersen ? The only thing he offers is his left foot.

                    Scores a couple of nice goals, but thats it.. very limited player, and not what we need.

                          Is Klose as leathel in the box as Van horseface? I don't see any of the German league but any time i have seen Klose his heading has been World class not too sure how good a poacher he is though.

                                Klose is as good as RvN was in the box and Klose is a much better team player. He sets up almost as many goals as he scores.
