It's always small time promoted clubs who do it too.
"In fact I’m going to make a promise which will be welcomed by many. If there’s no finance secured by the opening day of the season, I’m going to hang up my keyboard and close KOPTALK down." - Duncan Oldham, Expert Conman. March 29th 2006
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06
Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
a few calls later and people seem confident this is happening. I've also noticed that the goalie from the "song site" is saying that it's one out, one in. Could be Kromp, Pongo, Dude
so looks like it's happening.
I thank you.
Can't imagine Dudek going seeing as though Carson's been allowed to move on - they seem to rate Martin quite highly but can't see Rafa going into the season with him as the only back up
At a football club there's a holy trinity- the players the manager and the supporters, Directors dont come into it, they are only there to sign the cheques " - Bill Shankly
Kuyt is one step closer to signing

DIRK KUYT has moved a step nearer to securing a move to Anfield after Feyenoord gave the striker permission to speak to Liverpool.
Reports in Holland claim the 26-year-old has already spoken with Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez, who outlined how his proposed plans for the striker this season.
Some stories circulating yesterday used old quotes from Kuyt to suggest the forward is eyeing a move to Newcastle United.
But the Holland international has informed Feyenoord of his desire to join Liverpool.
And now Kuyt, who is part of the Holland squad that will face the Republic of Ireland in a friendly in Dublin tonight, is waiting on Liverpool and Feyenoord to thrash out a fee, with the Dutch club still holding out for £10million.
Meanwhile, Daniel Agger is confident his surprise Community Shield appearance can kickstart his Anfield career.
The Denmark international started alongside Jamie Carragher in central defence against Chelsea on Sunday, only his fifth appearance since his £5.6million arrival from Brondby in January.
It was also Agger's first outing of any kind since March after missing all Liverpool's pre-season friendlies through injury.
But the 21-year-old believes his "unlucky" start to life at Anfield is in the past and is ready to challenge for a regular starting role.
"It was a bit of a surprise to be selected, but that's what I'm here for. Although it was a surprise, I was ready," said Agger.
"I wasn't thinking about the fact I was playing against Shevchenko, all I thought about was the game. To be playing made me happy so I was determined to do my best.
"I think I've been unlucky since I moved to Liverpool because of injuries, but you just get on with it. Now I'm moving on and will keep working."
A youthful Liverpool side will travel to Lincoln City for a friendly this evening at Sincil Bank (kick-off 7.30pm). The game was arranged as part of the transfer that took Jack Hobbs to Anfield last year.
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Apparently several media sources are quoting that Roeder is watching him tonight and has said something like:
"We are trying to bring Kuyt to Newcastle"
Can't supply a source, because this is second hand information.
Now I don't take much notice of what Kuyt says or does in the press, as over the last 18 months he's had about 5 "dream" clubs and has professed a desire to play in several Premiership teams. This means that I wouldn't get TOO worried about his proclamtions that he wants to be the next Shearer, but also means that I don't get too excited when I read reports that he only wants to go to Liverpool.
However, we've seen Newcastle pull off some major coups in the transfer market over the years, and they are not shy about paying over-the-odds in terms of fees or transfers.
And let's face it, despite our need for another striker, I would guess that Newcastle's need is even greater. Almost desperate.
If it comes to an auction situation with Feyenoord, WE WILL LOSE. So we have to hope that, for once, the player WILL dig his heels in.

You ****ed up big time there alright Dan :whatever:
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
