This is going to be a long drawn out process then. I can't imagine that we'll be in the stadium until about 2012.

I`m not so bothered about it taking time anymore. The new owners knows we need new players and has taken that into account.
There is no need for a 80 000 seater if we`re midtable, so my guess that they will give Rafa money when needed.
If they`re pepared to move the building of the new stadium it also shows that they have long term interests in the club.

        Wow! Kudos to RS4

However - there's gonna be some empty seats on the midweek games in future that's for sure.

80K at a Champions league semi final night - the mouth just waters at such a prospect!!

I have zero problems with a delay - I don't want to see the last game in Anfield for a long time

So that's why they are borrowing all that money.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I wonder if we've put plans in place to improve the local infrastrcture? I can't see the council approving the new plans if we haven't.

Also, with the fact that we've got planning permission for a 60,000 capacity stadium will the process for the new application be quicker?

Did RS4 call this one then? I seem to remember him knowing someone who was involved with the stadium construction or something...

Fair play. Is there a link to the thread?

Anyone who's followed Rushie's info on the stadium stuff never would've doubted it in the first place.
