As people have already said further up, Garcia brings something to the team that very few of our other players can offer.

Namely a genuine creative spark.

While it is true that he does not have the level of consistency we all would like, to dismiss what he's done for the team as "A waste of space" is narrow-minded to say the least.

To get all Rafa-esque, Luis tries different things, and while they do not always come off, at least he is trying rather than sticking to the simple (yet predictable) things.

The fact is without him, we would not have won the CL. We wouldn't have even come close, and that in itself deserves more respect than he gets from a lot of quarters.

Fair enough, he might not be consistent or reliable enough to start every game, but for those big games, or European nights, or even just the games where we're having difficulty opening up the opposition - Luis brings that little touch of magic, that unpredictability that gives us different options - and we all know how fond Rafa is of 'pothibilities'.

If he goes, it'll be our loss IMO, because in him we have a player with flair - someone who can take a man on and beat them with skill. There's not many others in our squad that could be said for, and that shouldn't be underestimated.

Been watching alot of West Ham games this season, Tevez flatters to deceive, really. Apart from the same old excuse of needing time to climatize to English football, he struggles too much with the limited time and space players will get in the premiership, goes round and round with only occasional success..... oh, hang on...... it's Tevez than.

Marky, we've got plenty of players who are great at retaining possession for us, what we lack is players that convert possession into quality chances or goals. Garcia is one of the few we have that gives us that, so why sell him?
