I agree that a fit Kewell could do the biz against the chavs but him being fit now we are in a semi of a cup is the least surprising news of the year.

I said a week ago that I wouldn't be surprised if Kewell is more or less 100% fit.

Rafa have surprised us before when we thought a player needed to play reserve team games but instead the player have played in the PL or CL.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

If Kewell played in a reserve team game or two before he plays in the PL or CL then Chelsea for example would be able to prepare their tactics better.

Kewell still in the money at Liverpool
                              tribalfooball.com - April 16, 2007

Sometimes Liverpool midfielder Harry Kewell is set for a huge windfall - even if he is dumped by manager Rafa Benitez this summer.

The People says despite his injury problems, Kewell is still collecting his £2million a year ... and taking advantage of the six business class flights to Australia that Liverpool kindly fund.

Not only that - if another club is of a mind to bid more than £6million for the injury-prone Aussie, he gets 50 per cent of everything over that mark.

Kewell is also the only player on Liverpool's books to have his own image rights deal.
