Doesnt matter what their fans think, Mourinho wont allow complacency to creep in this time.

Chelsea need a goal almost as much as we do.
We'll score if Chelsea try and sit deep for 90 minutes.
Mourninho will know that.
So they'll in this weird kind of not quite knowing how best to play scenario. Will they sit deep and counter knowing they'll be putting pressure on themselves for most of the game, or will they push for a goal and potentially leave gaps?
A goal for them would almost certainly put them through.
If they don't score, it's almost certainly going to extra time and pens, in which case I'd take my chances with that.

Some questions we should ask ourselves

Can we stop them scoring? Like, er, Newcastle did last week

Heae we ever beaten them 1-0 in a CL Semi-Final? I seem to recall we did.

Have we beaten them 2-0 at Anfield in the recent past? Injuries or no, I believe the answer is yes.

Worst case, do they ever concede 3 goals in a game? Only aainst the 'mighty' Spurs barely a month ago (WITH Terry, Cech and Carvalho playing).

Finally, Have we ever scored 3 goals to win a European match in extremis? APART from Inter, Bruges, St Etienne, the Mark Walters one, Alaves, Olympiakos and Milan, of course.

Believe, folks, that's our job. Let's not get all wussy because a CL Semi-Final isn't panning out as a cosy, relaxed stroll in the park.

The stadium will be rocking, our (individual) flags will be flying and Chelsea will tremble in fear...

When I was watchin the game on TV I didn't see too many Chelsea flags flying and I asked a Chelsea mate that went to the game what happened and he said people always go into the ground early and pinch all the flags and then they sell them outside after the game.

I thought that was funny.

He also said that he thought we played better and 1-0 isn't enough for them to take to Anfield.

Tom not sure the title is accurate as we were 2-1 down to Crystal Palace in the league cup semis and won the return leg 5-0 :-)

More recently (well two years earlier) 2-1 down to Sheff Utd in 2003 league cup semi and won at Anfield 2-0.
