I agree. I think our best bet this summer in terms of strikers would be Tevez and Eto´o.
Those two would be awesome together.

It has been rumoured for a while that both Mascherano and Tevez was placed at West Ham to get some experience and that a deal to take them to another bigger club already was done before they joined West Ham.

is tevez playing on a game by game contract? when we signed mash that old deal was bought for 2million so he could play for us. surely the same was done for tevez?

Think at the time the takeover offer had been made and accepted by Moores, and offers were going out to other shareholders.

Either way he was obviously a longer term target.

no he wasn't both him and his agent confirmed the deal was signed in january, thats before the takover, if i remember correctly when benitez confirmed his capture he said that the deal had been struck a while back and only now they decided to announce it...
