FWIW I think your opinion on the ballot does make sense. Doing it this way could be never ending aspeople who are told they can get a ticket can then say they don't want one and the ballot has to be redone and redone. You're reasoning that it stops people selling them on is irrelevant though because people who do hav 6 gmes but don't want to go can still apply and sell on if successful
Sorry man but that is whats happenning you have till Tuesday to apply then there may be another ballot.08-09 Dirk monitor

1) there was a protest. Right in front of me where the houses used tobe at the side of the Kop infact.
2) Chants included:
Get back to the Circus, get back to the Circus, you ****in clown, you ****in clown.
2 lyin *******s, theres only 2 lyin *******s etc
Parry Parry Parry, tout tout tout
You can stick your ****in ballot up your arse
and so on.
3) Out of all the regulars I know going the game through my gate, only 1. Thats 1, got a ticket for Athens.
4) Only 1, thats 1, gumbled about the protest.
5) The whole KOP, thats 12k people joined the chanting directed at Parry.
6) Nearly everyone who went in when the protet was on, said they agreed with it regardless.
7) Charlton are ****.Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

I don't think Parry's position is untenable yet but I can't see him lasting too long. G & H know that the real power lies with fans and as such I doubt whether they are too impressed with all this.

And if they were looking to replace him eventually anyway, then they have the perfect excuse to do it sooner rather than later now.
I think the fact he's tried to cover everything up is what angers people more than anything, if there are no 'missing tickets' contrary to what these figures suggest then he should release the breakdown of where they all went to prove it. Certainly he's given no valid argument not to release the figures. 'We never released them before' doesn't exactly cut it.Like blood on iron

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
