Maybe yeah. But my point is, how many? I can't see it being a significant number at all. They'd have to fit into a small category of people in the ballott who want a ticket enough to send off for it on receiving an application form, but can't be arsed to apply before being guaranteed a ticket. In any case, if people qualify for tickets I don't see why they shouldn't be told that they do. They still have to apply. I just think this is by far the least important issue in this whole mess.Like blood on iron

you know those ones who wouldn't have applied they will go to other ppl you know don't you think outside the box a bitOriginally posted by DJS View PostFunny that, because i know of a good few people that had 6 credits, but cant go for various reasons - family holiday booked, cant afford the flights, cant get the time off work etc...and have said they wouldnt have applied if they'd been asked to. And that's just ones that are known to ME, let alone how many others there might be.
Maybe if you opened your mind a bit, you'd see that everything isnt as black and white as your myopic point of view suggests.Thomas Hicks Senior

Fair enough mate. I'd probably not see it as being that important either, if i'd won in the ballot. Dont blame you.Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostMaybe yeah. But my point is, how many? man no offence was meant im sorry, your post was slightly confrontational so i responded in like manner. The dickheads i was referring to were the people put there by Uefa's choice of selling tickets to corporate instead of fans.08-09 Dirk monitor

It's nothing to do with winning in the ballott or not :whatever:Originally posted by DJS View PostFair enough mate. I'd probably not see it as being that important either, if i'd won in the ballot. Dont blame you.
It's to do with there being more important issues to discuss in this situation, but of course you'd much rather nitpick on side issues and patronise people instead. So be it.
It's a bit lame to start behaving like that just because you've got no response to the points in peoples arguments.Like blood on iron

Polo, i've simply said it makes more sense for everyone in the ballot to be people who'd actually go, rather than people who'd sell on tickets at a mighty profit.Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostIt's nothing to do with winning in the ballott or not :whatever:

I dont see what's so radical or wrong about that, but fair enough.
I cant be arsed anymore. All feel free to just keep having digs, i'll not bother putting my viewpoint across anymore.

The time i was referring to, was relating to opening applications the morning after beating chelsea...as opposed to 1 week before the final...Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostWell you were making out there was plenty of time earlier on when it suited your argument.
But whatever, carry on anyway.

Oh I'M having digs am I? Here's me thinking you just accused me of not giving a **** because I've got a ticket myself. :whatever:Originally posted by DJS View PostPolo, i've simply said it makes more sense for everyone in the ballot to be people who'd actually go, rather than people who'd sell on tickets at a mighty profit.

Its not your viewpoints that people have digs at its your patronising atitude. The way you say fact for things that suit you then slag someone off for having a different opinion. The way you use the :whatever: smiley for anyone that does not agree with you. Its the way you try to put people down yet when anyone comes back with a very valid point which disputes your opinion you choose not to respond. Thats why you piss people off in my opinion.Originally posted by DJS View PostPolo, i've simply said it makes more sense for everyone in the ballot to be people who'd actually go, rather than people who'd sell on tickets at a mighty profit.

FWIW I think your opinion on the ballot does make sense. Doing it this way could be never ending aspeople who are told they can get a ticket can then say they don't want one and the ballot has to be redone and redone. You're reasoning that it stops people selling them on is irrelevant though because people who do hav 6 gmes but don't want to go can still apply and sell on if successful
