All he needed or needs to do is show whats happened. The fact he has come out in the Echo and basically said **** off, that is what has annoyed everyone.

Really?Originally posted by Morphorino View Postthe point that it was all set out before the competition started
So at the beginning of the season, Rick Parry said Corporate Season Ticket holders would be guaranteed a Final Ticket did he? Bollox.
You can blame UEFA all you want but Parry went to great lengths to tell us that Fancard Holders and Season ticket holders would be treated the same. Well they weren't because the Corporates all got their mitts on them.
That's why there were so few left to the 'normal' season ticket and fancard holders.Sarcasm Is The Lowest Form Of Wit

that was in reference to the priority system, nothing to do with the breakdown of tix, take it in contextOriginally posted by Sheik Yerbouti View PostReally?

Ahhhh right. So he never mentioned Corporates would be guaranteed tickets at the beginning of the season but when it came to putting names in the ballot, their's were conveniently left out. Seeing that you're all too eager to support Rick, what's your take on that then.Originally posted by Morphorino View Postthat was in reference to the priority system, nothing to do with the breakdown of tix, take it in contextSarcasm Is The Lowest Form Of Wit

Does anyone know how these deals work with corporates etc? Presumably Parry made a deal with them from the start that they are entitled to x amount of tickets to finals etc? Also, what exactly is a corporate season ticket, are we talking about people with boxes at Anfield here or something else?
We all know the game has become increasingly commercial but I think what makes it so much worse is that Parry has basically told everyone to **** off with their request for a breakdown of where the tickets have gone. What happens next? Can't see what Parry can do now to come out of this unscathed. He's ****ed it big time.Like blood on iron

we'll i don't know mate because i don't know how the corporate stuff works, i always assumed that corporates would get allocated tickets but wasn't aware the quantity, also ex shareholders come into this don't forget. The thing is the same thing happened in 2005 but no one mentioned it then did they.Originally posted by Sheik Yerbouti View PostAhhhh right. For the record, i'm not necessarily supporting Rick, i'm just trying to offer a balance to the arguments, I also don't see him as the only face of LFC, i'd rather refer to it as 'the club' rather than one personThomas Hicks Senior

As said before, i'm not exactly on a quest for justice for Parry, i just think it's a bit harsh that he's the one getting lambasted by the fans when there's plenty of other ppl on the board and Moores himself present when all this **** will have been decided. My main gripe is that I think it's pretty harsh to direct everything at him. I'm not sure about deeply flawed, but he's certainly not perfect, we'll see what happens in the coming years.Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostHa Ha
I cant quite believe how generous you've been to Parry, Morph.
It's fairly obvious to everyone his tenure as CEO has been deeply flawed, this latest debacle is just the tip of the iceberg.
As for this particular argument, I think i'm going to abstain from making any further comments unless new info crops up that warrants discussion, because it seems to be going round in circles, and we've got a final to be thinking about whether i'm there or notThomas Hicks Senior

that's the bit that's getting me tho, i know he's the chief exec and the face of the board if you like, but there's a chairman and other board members who make decisions as well (or there were at the time) singling the man out for hate in my book is wrong, having a go at the club in general is a different matter. I'm not so sure he is purposely being arrogant, but more trying to keep things under wraps for the sake of the club maybe at the very least until the final is out of the way, whether thats right or wrong i don't really knowOriginally posted by SCOUSERTOMMY View Posthahaha, i am serious though, parry is havin a laff with his arrogance about disclosure. my gut feeling is that if he does play the numbers game it will open a bigger can of worms for him. something is not right though.

well parry has always wore the face of the board and has always been a target of hatred, i think at the end of the day it comes down to he is not really one of us. i met him after 2005 and thanked him for rafa but then a week later i couldent believe the price he give us away to carlsberg for. one thing is for sure after talking to lads all week about it, you would be in a very very small minority for defending him. like my ma used to say, "always see the good in people" and fair play to you for stickin with your stand"People from Liverpool have got something about them and, if they’re not happy about something, they let people know.”

I was uneasy about it but i tell you what, its about ****ing time we demanded our game back.Originally posted by Shanks007 View PostJust heard the protest on Radio City.
Fans singing about tickets in the wrong hands to the tune of 5 times.
Chanting about Parry being **** and not fit to run our club etc.
Sounded like there were quite a few there aswell.

Why should we be so passive when they so blatantly **** all over us.
**** em. I'm sick of this "we're Liverpool lets take it."
We've been shafted by UEFA and by the club so **** them. Its about time we stood up and said enough is enough.
If loyal fans are ****ed off in favour of corporate sponsors whats the point?
Well done to those who organised the protest. I turned up, saw it and joined in and I'm glad I did.
If there's anything I'm ashamed of its the THANKS DM bollocks so soon after the club ****ed us all over. Not the protest.
Parry had a bodyguard with him today. What a joke that he feels he has to be guarded from his own fans.
Our club was built on unity between club and supporters. They have trampled all over that this week. Its time we fought back. Good on yers whoever protested.
