Top post mate, and SOOO trueOriginally posted by NICKZS View PostHyypia is an absolute legend. The embodiment of the class and mentality that this club is based on, particularly demonstrated by how magnanimously he accepted the loss of his captaincy, and now by his dedication to the club even whilst warming the bench.
True legend of LFC.

I hope at the end of next season Sami gets some sort of testimonial.
I can't think of too many foreign players to come into English football and stay at a club for so long, playing such an important part in the process.
The guy is a legend.Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.
Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

Should Sami to stay or go now?
Liverpoolfc.tv say he is committed to staying, media suggest moves to Newcastle or Wigan. I hope he stays, if he has talked to Rafa and is happy to be a bit part player then that's great news for us. Will be of great help to Danger in that he might understand Sami a bit more than Carra and learn from him in training. If either Carra or Danger get injured we suddenly look very light at CB with Paletta left in reserve. If Milito arrives I'd still keep him for the season, he's been a great servant to the club. Better options in the reserves and youth team than Paletta.*************************

Well said, a modern day Liverpool legend and a gentleman and one of the best signings ever made thats how much i think of this guyOriginally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostI would dearly love for him to stay, but I wouldn't begrudge him a move if he felt he had to to get regular first-team football.
Sami is an honourable man, a good man, and our young players can learn so much from him.
When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........

I'm kind of hoping he'll fade away gracefully with the first team in a cameoo role, hang up his boots and go coaching the kids. From what I've read about him, seems the perfect professional and role model to youngsters. Although if he wanted to go play regular for a couple of seasons you couldn't begrude him.
He's in england long enough to get a new hip on the NHS although he could be on the waiting list til he's 50. We could still play him as a corner flag.*************************
