Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Don't get too carried away with each different story in the press.
Surely it's in their interests to put out messages which raise questions about their willingness to spend big. It'll help counter to press ther'es been saying Rafa has a warchest and could save them a few milliion in negotiations.
There was similar crap with Glazers and Manu dosn't seem to have suffered unfortunaley!

I agree with you mate. The mass hysteria on the forums these days is laughable. I'll start to panic if by mid July we haven't made our signings but until then I'm just not going to buy into all this bull sh!t.
As for our owners wanting to make money...so what? As long as they invest in the club and turn us into title contenders then they can make as much money as they want.

something is amiss, firstly rafa popping off and now bascombe revealing that the honeymon is over. a lot of people have been popping off imo, due to a lack of patience but what if lucas, malouda and the hugarian kids are as good as it gets. gillette likes to hear himself talk and the upcoming month is going to give himself a chance to back himself up. me, im going with instinct, something is wrong"People from Liverpool have got something about them and, if they’re not happy about something, they let people know.”

I don't think Sissoko will leave plus we didn't get any where near 3-4m for pongolle (1.5M i think). 60 m is still not enough I don't think any way not if we want to put in a serious challengeOriginally posted by redblood View PostI was thinking the same with regards to incoming funds we have a lot of players who will be off loaded this season.
There are at least 10 players that we will move on of them about 7-8 will net us a return.
Momo 8-10
Bellers 8-10
Speedy 4-5
Pongolle 3-4
Cisse 6-8
Kewell 2-3
Fowler 0
Zenden 0
Carson 4-5
So taking that at the low end and the most likely candidates to go would be the first 5 on the list we would be looking at £29 mill.
Now that would buy 2 decent wingers and although I really don't believe that Rafa would spend £30mill+ on one player it would give us the opportunity to do so.
Also lets not forget that we made a nice bit of money from our run in the CL to.

That's pretty cliched mate. He probably isn't the one masterminding transfers right now, as our accounts are transatlantic based now.Originally posted by tomasjj View PostYes, something is wrong - Parry.

It's easy to bash him, when he's been operating under financial constraints for so long.
