    UEFA allegations - discussion

LIVERPOOL fans have been condemned as the WORST in Europe in a scathing UEFA report.

UEFA president Michel Platini will hand the controversial dossier to Britain's Sports Minister Richard Caborn in Brussels on Tuesday.

UEFA spokesman William Gaillard said: "We have an independent police report mentioning 25 incidents since 2003 caused by Liverpool fans away from home. That's the most of any team in Europe. We should all be very pleased that no one was hurt."

The report follows an investigation into violence that marred the Champions League final in Athens and accuses the Kop fans of causing most of the trouble.

Scores of fans with genuine tickets were denied entry to the Olympic Stadium in Athens last month.

Hundreds of others holding forgeries managed to get in to see Liverpool's 2-1 defeat by AC Milan.

Gaillard added: "We had 102 flags in the stadium, but by the time the game began there were only two left. People climbed up amid incredible danger in order to steal them, and we know a majority were Liverpool fans."

A senior UEFA insider told the News of the World that Caborn would have "serious food for thought" after reading a "thick dossier" on the disorder in the stadium.

Liverpool will mount a strong defence of their fans and point out they submitted their own report to UEFA before the final, highlighting their serious concerns about crowd control.

I told you that Platini hates us, we will get it very tough from now on with **** refs and so on......
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

What a load of bollocks ! UEFA is really losing the plot now. Why did he have to say that ? Feckin' ridiculous comment to make.

We are probably the best supported team in the world, and this no doubts increases the risk having trouble at games, but when the blame clearly lied on how UEFA organized the Athens final, I think that the club should really look into trying to tell these ****ers to eat their words now.

We know that Gaillard doesn't like us and now he has the UEFA President who backs him up all the way.

Whilst attacking us - they're hoping to deflect the criticism away from themselves.

Let's not forget though - if it wasn't for us - the Attaturk and the Olympic Stadium would have both been half empty for their showpiece final. I didn't hear them complaining when they were taking our money.

Pair of inbred, garlic eating ****s.

                  I ****ing hate that man.

He's had a hard on for us since Heysel and has never let it go or moved on. He can go **** himself with the way he let the final go down, and is just trying to shift blame for his first ever cup final as the prez.

He's a pompus ass and can go **** himself. We were physically afraid for our well being getting into the match, and it wasn't because of the LFC fans, it was the riot police that didn't know what the **** to do that were hired by him.

                  **** you, you c.u.n.t.

Are we suggesting that the report has been made up?

                      Fake tickets
                      Storming the gates
                      Trying to sneak in

All things the Liverpool fans were guilty of.

I guess it was UEFA’s fault for not policing the game properly, obviously we could not be expected to behave ourselves if they didn’t.

I'm not sure what to make of that post?

Are you saying that if I didnt consider printing fake tickets, storming the gates
or try to sneak into the ground that I would be a church going saint.

I didnt agree with the satatement of worst in Europe. I've go to much experience of Germany and Holland to believe that. You comments do however make me think twice.

Although some of the things you state did happen in Athens and Liverpool fans(like any other club), has fans who have a criminal element to them it still doesn't detract from UEFA's and the Greek authorities complete incompetance.

                              Agreed.

But I dont think we should use their incompetence to avail our behaviour.

Liverpool fans are famous for their high opinion of themselves and their ‘it wasn’t our fault’ mentality.

The club should take a strong position against the ‘minority’….

UEFA have shifted blame, I hope the club don’t try to do the same (I’m sure they will)
