as we have sorted out masher and tevez 2 year loan is costing the mancs 6m i reckon we should be in there trying to show tevez that we are the club to be at.

What should we be saying, '**** off', there's more parties involved than just the Mancs. (For the record, I also believe we are not doing this to 'woo' them into letting us potentially have Heinze, who we could get regardless of)
not a chance - to 'woo' them - christ what business world do you come from?
AS for the 'hatred' between the two clubs - it's the managers and boardrooms that set up deals between clubs - and **** me there hasn't been one since 1964!!

Do Coca Cola do favours for Pepsi? Or Microsoft for Sony?

                  How about Sainsbury's and Tesco?

I cant believe people dont have a problem with us helping United get a top player, it's insane. What next, shall we give them Gerrard too? Just to be professional, like...

I ain't bothered to be fair mate. United are United and they can buy anybody if they want and it's not as if what we've done to sign Mascher isn't in the public domain. We're behaving as professionals there and I expect the same from United if indeed Heinze has decided to come to us.

if United are United then let them get their own ****in legal advice.

The West Ham business is murky and the apparent confusion over the legal status of the 3rd party ownership rule doesn't benefit anyone. If our involvement in the Mascher situation helps tidy the mess up, it's for everyone's benefit. And when the article refers to Liverpool helping them out, it more than likely to be a 3rd party legal firm who do work for LFC, rather than the clubs legal team. I can't see how there would be a conflict of interest in that firm working for Utd on a deal that doesn't involve us so it all seems in order. They have as much right to buy that expertise as we have.

That we be awesome, It would nearly install us as favorites for the League title next season if it happened.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

To be fair Manure (Watkins) helped us put the Mascher deal together. One good turn deserves another.
