I can handle it, but you make incorrect inferences. I say Tevez doesn't add a new dimension you tell me that he is top notch. I didn't say he wasn't yet you seem to want to debate it. I don't it's a non-debate, obviously, he is top class.

While you continue to disinterpret things a debate is impossible.

If you want to debate what I SAY then I'm all for it! I love debating, I can't remember a debate where I haven't learnt something. But, debating with you tends to be on tangential stuff which is not interesting to me.

If you want to debate whether or not Tevez adds a new dimension then I'm up for it.

If you want to put words in mouth, imply that I think Tevez is crap, then au revoir!

Why is Tevez's transfer's seeming to be proving alot more difficult the the Mash's one? I know Mash transfer was a pain in the ass but hearing the news reporters about Tevez it seems as iff they have to move a mountain to get him????

Anything that prevents him going to the scum is a good thing. Don't try to rationalize it, just pray against it )

I'd imagine it's because West Ham were more than happy to help us take Mascherano off their hands, whereas they are fighting tooth and nail to keep Teves. If West Ham are trying to block then I can see why the Mancs would appreciate our knowledge of the murky contractual arrangements.

I haven't got a problem with it at all. We don't want or need him, and it might help us out in the future if we help them now. Shankly and Busby were good friends, Fergie was among the first to congratulate Rafa after Istanbul, and there has always been a good relationship between our clubs off the pitch. It's the way big professional clubs behave, you rise above the bitterness at the professional level of the club, while obviously still wanting to see them get stuffed.

It would be incredibly embarrassing if the club and its officials behaved like us fans -Tom Hicks throwing a fish and chip tray full of **** at the Glazers across the directors box, with Gillett chucking a pint over Fergie in the players lounge after the game while Rafa calls him a ****...

                        Agree.

As we all know, "Feed the crow and he will caw, he will caw", etc, etc. Repeat until 20 goals are scored (mid-march )

But i WAS going on what you said - what's the problem whether he adds a 'new dimension' or not, when he's top class? A Gerrard clone wouldnt add anything new to our side, but we'd love to have one, wouldnt we?

I just feel as though you're clinging to this 'new dimension' stuff as some attempted comfort, with regards to them probably getting another top player - which i dont understand.

Semantics really, anyone with the slightest knowledge of football knows that Tevez is a huge talent and it seems that people are doing their best to either deny this or, as is more the case, somehow try and find a way to make him NOT a great signing for United, if they get him. I dont see the point of that, why not just accept that he's top drawer and sadly, they look to be getting him? This is the kind of thing i mean, when i refer to people sticking their heads in the sand. And it happens with a lot of potential signings, apparently all of ours are going to gel and settle, while any that United and Chelsea make are going to struggle and not adapt....equating to us winning the league. Lovely theory. But it doesnt seem to work out that way, sadly.

But, since he wont offer them a 'new dimension', why are you not wanting him to go there?
