I just feel as though you're clinging to this 'new dimension' stuff as some attempted comfort, with regards to them probably getting another top player - which i dont understand.

Looking at Fergie on SSN news now as they are over in Japan its amazing how he looks at the start of the season after holidays and what he looks like during the season.

He's all brown now and a clear face unlike what he looks like during the season with a purple nose and red cheeks with puffed out eyes.

Have a look at SSN in the next day or two and see if you see the difference in him

Very strong case actually...as soon as i make a point to contradict you, you lose interest in the debate...

I dont see the point of that, why not just accept that he's top drawer and sadly, they look to be getting him? This is the kind of thing i mean, when i refer to people sticking their heads in the sand. And it happens with a lot of potential signings, apparently all of ours are going to gel and settle, while any that United and Chelsea make are going to struggle and not adapt....equating to us winning the league. Lovely theory. But it doesnt seem to work out that way, sadly.
Because he's done nothing for them yet, he looked okay for west ham, but Darren Bent looks okay as well. You seriously aren't basing your opinion of the guy on what he did in the last 7/8 games last season. Just like Torres could be **** for us, Tevez could be **** for them and i'll be reserving my judgement till i've seen a bit more of him, in a quality team, not just a big fish in a small pond.

We have to think he one of the world's best, otherwise we're just being bitter about the Scum signing him. There's not really an answer to that, so I won't bother, other than to say I didn't want us to spend the 30 million that was being touted to buy him out right. He would have improved out side but I'm happy that Torres will make at least as much of an impact. Just an opinoin because as you say, we'll only know a way in to next season.

The probability is that he'll be very good. And for the record, i havent seen many people say that Torres 'could' be **** for us, either.

And no, i'm not basing it on 7/8 games last season. Maybe that's the extent of some people's knowledge of him, which is fair enough.

Nothing to disagree with there. All i'd say is, if tevez IS available to loan, i wish we'd tried (assuming we didnt).

Well apart from his west ham games and a handful of internationals there isn't much to formulate an opinion on, unless you saw him play much for Corinthians. Lets put it this way, nothing i've seen puts him in the 30mil price bracket for me

The point is he doesn't make Man U any better. They have a bit more depth but no big imporvement. Thats the difference between him being **** and not adding anythin new.

A bit like us having 3 great keepers last year, at least 1 was a waste of resource. Would us buying Buffon make us any better? Only in cases of injury and when fielding an intentionally weakened team.

PS : Is this DJS the DJSydney form KT?
