We have one of the most hottest talents in Babel who has so much potential of being great at Liverpool. Malouda was desperate for money and wanted a guaranteed first team spot- Rafa can never guarantee that.
We got Babel for cheap and we will get more years from him- hopefully he becomes an Anfield legend!

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

TBH I think Chelsea on Sunday will see SG on the right and correctly so in my opinion. He'll offer the skill the pace, the power and the delivery that we need but he has the defensive attributes and discipline to protect finnan cause whoever said Finnan will have his hands full is right on the money. Malouda looks class and certainly if his early impression is to go by he know's where the goal is and will need some serious attention.

For me this is how I think we should line up. . . but then again i'm not Rafa

        Reina

        Finnan Carra Agger Arbeloa

Gerrard Xabi Mash Sissoko Babel (benni)

        Crouch

Remember like I said- that's my team, haha!
Swap Benni for Babel and I'd go with that (with Torres on the bench if Crouchie isn't getting anywhere). I think we might need to be a bit more physical right across the park, with Gerrard, Masher and Babel pushing forward as and when.

Fifa needs to put a transfer/wages cap players to level the playing field.Chelsea have attracted 4 or 5 players who only signed for the excessive wage packet.I know it will never happen but it` leaves the rest trailing in the transfer market.

We're at home, they're missing two of there powerhouse players in Essien and Terry, lets attack them to fcuk.
We now have the players to do so and Rafa has already hinted he will set his team to attack teams hence why he bought the likes of Yossi, Babel, Torres and co.
            Lets rip into em
Fair shout dude but even with that team I think we can cause them a lot of problems. Gerrard and Benayoun will have the opportunity to get at their defensively suspect fullbacks and Crouch will be the target man which they'll struggle to deal with, providing Terry doesn't play. Alonso can dictate the play from wherever he likes Sissoko can wreck their midfield and Mashcerano can do what he does best- sit, break up and pass quickly. The full backs in Finnan and Arbeloa have the attacking Nouce to overlap the widemen and get in some decent service to crouch and the advancing midfield players (SG, YB and Alonso).

It looks negative but it could be really aggressive and it's certainly a team that can hurt Chelsea
Manchester. . . WANK WANK WANK

I seriously dont see it happening as well. A lot of the top flight clubs will just boycott FIFA and make their own super league.

have to agree, must have two strikers.

IF we beat the chavs and do well against tough away games at Sunderland and Pompey this could really be the start we all dreamt of.

Knowing us we will **** up at home to ****ing Derby or the brummies :whatever:

We must be in touch after the first 10 games

With United likely to drop points between Portsmouth and City, we really should show we mean business by beating Chelsea. I don’t see any reason why we shouldn’t either. I would have accepted 4 points from the opening two games at the start of the season, hoping for a long unbeaten run afterwards. Now though, after the performance on Saturday and the problems Chelsea are experiencing, we should be confident going for the win. Let’s not forget, Chelsea don’t like coming to Anfield at all now.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

No offense mate but that is more like the team Rafa would play at the bridge. There's no balance, 4 central midfielders, no natural width and no pace up front. I understand we need to get the mxiture of attack and defence correct but that team is way too negative. I do think Gerrard will play on the right and Mascher and Xabi will play in the centre but I'd like to see Babel start on the left and Torres start up top with Crouch.
                        Dare we believe

                          Likely?

I can see them dropping points but its not likely. Pompey gave them a hard time last season after the Scum came back from Rome and Man City can give them a hard time but they aren't world beaters themselves
