I'm not happy because Rafa may come out of it looking like a dick. He was confident, with a smurk. Hicks was confident, because Rafa said so. etc etc.
I didn't expect it to go our way, but I assumed LFC know something that wasn't in the public domain that would make the case obvious. Appears I gave them too much credit.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

If it's that conclusive, how the **** did it get this far?Originally posted by RoadEnd View PostThe hearing concluded that the written letter Heinze possessed "was unambiguous in that it envisages only an international transfer".Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Well it's up to Heinze what happens now. He can go elsewhere, or sit it out.Originally posted by blacky View PostWhichever way you look at it united are losers here. Either we got Heinze or he stayed at united and his position is untenable, united may sell him on the cheap now to madrid or barca. We have pissed off ol whiskey nose!!Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Putting aside rivalry - I am pleased that this has happened, just imagine it if it was one of our players that was involved in this kind of saga, vying for a move to say Chelsea ! Either he goes with the blessing of his club or he doesn't go.Originally posted by Havors View PostI hope he takes the arse holes to the european human rights courts. They have no right to dictate what a player does with his career/life.
You really think in any other job your current employer could prevent you from taking a job somewhere else? Why should it be any different for footballers?eems like the scum are pretty tight with the premier league powers that be.
:
He signed a contract with them therefore it should be honoured by both parties unless they mutually agree to terminate it or sell it on, again with the blessing of both parties.
The problem with your second argument is that clubs buy out contracts etc hence the need for a fixed term agreement with that player.Imagine if Torres thought, **** it I can get more money at Chelsea and hands Liverpool four weeks notice - What do we do, write off £20m+.
Common sense has prevailed in my opinion.I make no apologies, this is me

I don't think it's over yet, DS.Originally posted by desertscouser View PostIt's a little embarrassing.
I'm sure we've gone through every route, so now that door 1 has closed, we will go through door 2 and continue with plan B, which will have been put in place before this whole verdict/appeal thing. I'm sure Rafa and whomever will have gone through every possible scenario before this whole thing and not put their eggs in one basket.
