Who replaces him will be interesting, I would love to see Gary Mac involved at LFC but I'm not sure he's cut out for the role Pako had.Would anybody notice if we swapped Jay (KK07) for Pako?Originally posted by SpeedyG View PostI am SURE Rafa will bring in someone as good if not better than Pako.
There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

so, who the fook are we gonna replace him with
it'll have to be somone really special to keep our lads in top,top condition as the've been used too

Benitez Rocked By Assistant's Resignation
Paco Ayesteran has been working with Rafa Benitez for a while now, and was a part of the team that came with him three summers ago.
He worked with Benitez at Valencia, and before that at Tenerife as well. His job is generally based around working closely with the squad, be it conducting fitness training, or aiding in general interaction with and handling of the players.
That has left Rafa free to focus on the tactical aspects, but that might just change now.
There have been reports that Ayesteran and Benitez have fallen out, and that the former has submitted his resignation.
Benitez refused to confirm the resignation, but admitted that his assistant has indeed asked to leave.
"Paco has told me he wants to leave, apart from that I cannot say any more," he said. "We will have to assess the situation."
This will be a very unwelcome situation for the club just as they prepare for a serious Premiership assault.
Squad management is considered one of the most important parts, and the problems suffered by Frank Rijkaard last season following the departure of Henk Ten Cate should serve as a warning.
The Reds are frantically looking for a replacement

My unhappiness at all this has made so angry, i have had a chat to me my little mole to find out what the f*** is goin on.
anyway some things he told are as follows.
there were issues going back to the beginning of the year were Pako felt that to push the club in a certain direction he wanted to alter training sessions to which Rafa refused, these rumblings went on for quite some time but things were ironed out towards the end of the season.
Pre season was set out and yeah that was an issue as Pako had set out his plan, however Rafa returned earlier to Melwood and put his ideas into action before speaking to Pako, which upset Pako as he returned with his ideas only to be told that Raf had set out his plan. The problems started again and Pako felt frustrated, this has been the way it has gone up until now as Pako feels he has alot to offer but is not having a chance, and feels he is not appreciated.
The other thing that has upset him was one of our signings, Pako wsn't sure about him and felt it was a panic buy. Am not going to name which player.
Now from what i have heard it is extremely serious so much so that todays afternoon training session has been cancelled.
Rafa wants Pako to stay and they are all working as we speak to sort the matter out.--== Because the gang and the government is no different ==--

I'll take this with the appropriate pinch of salt, but it's certainly plausible and worth discussing.
As an educated guess at the supposed "panic buy", I'd say Babel?
However, what right does Pako have to question the merits of any signings made by Benitez? His remit doesn't include the scouting or purchasing of players, as far as I know. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
