I'll take this with the appropriate pinch of salt, but it's certainly plausible and worth discussing.

As an educated guess at the supposed "panic buy", I'd say Babel?

However, what right does Pako have to question the merits of any signings made by Benitez? His remit doesn't include the scouting or purchasing of players, as far as I know.
To be fair if you are a senior member of the coaching staff you should have views on all players. I would imagine you would also like to be kept in formed of the direction that the manager was going to take the squad. If he hadn't been annoyed about Rafa coming in and doing the training plans without him then we would never have heard about the opinion. I bet disagreements like that happen all the time.

I'm guessing the panic buy was either Benayoun or Babel. From the way the PL squads have gone this season I would be tempted to say Benni actually.

We caught up with Pako at Melwood to ask him if the exit rumours were true but he would only say "I love Liverpool FC". His exit comes following a series of disagreements with Reds boss Rafa Benitez.

Several players had complained to us 'off-the-record' that training sessions under Pako were too intense and during the summer Rafa altered them and that sparked the problems.

      more to follow...

Really? Benayoun looked, to me, like a signing that Rafa had nailed on from the start and was actively pursuing for the majority of the summer. Whereas Babel's signing just came out of nowhere which leads me to think he could be the player referred to. This is, of course, if what has been posted is true.

It would appear that Rafa is taking the squad in a direction that Paco doesn't agree with ( if these stories are correct and i'm not 100% convinced they are ), both in terms of training regimes and playing staff. Rafa has ( possibly ) said it's my way or nothing, which as manager he has to as he's ultimately responsible for results.

Do we think Rafa is a bit of a control freak?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Panic buy is almost certainly Babel, he's being played out of position, was overpriced and hasnt done much so far

Most top managers are and not just in the football world either, i think Rafa probably listens to others opinions but just makes his own decisions and acts on them.
