Well, questions can convey opinions too. e.g. If I said 'why the **** should I touch your willy?' then it would be fair for you to assume I didn't think I should.
The thing is, if you're going to omit the S*n from that then you're saying it does matter. Some people feel the links between the two are well established and close enough that it should be boycotted. Which is up to them. Personally I don't think they should get so upset about it, it is a grey area after all. I boycott Nestle because they aggressively market baby milk formula in third world countries to people not suited to it resulting in the deaths of many, but I don't think everyone who doesn't boycott them is a ****. It's just a combination of awareness and opinions, people cant always think the same.
until theres an official boycott its a no brainer.
You two scousers are always yapping,I'm gonna show you some serious rapping.
I come from Jamaica,my name is John Barnes,When I do my thing the crowd go bananas.
Before Carra is hung drawn and quartered by some of you, wouldn't it be in the best interests to hear his side of things ?
Not really, it is a simple question. He's undermined the opinions of a LOT of scousers. It's not as if no-one knew this would be controversial. He had the pick of the nationals.
There is no bigger liverpool fan than me, and there has been no bigger supporter of carragher than me, even in the early years when it seemed every liverpool fan thought he was "****e" I just couldnt help but admire him.
That has no bearing in my opinion. Bascombe sold his soul to the sunday sun and I said he was a **** for doing it and I believe Carragher is a **** for doing it also, just as I have no time for Gerrard (as a person, not as a footballer) anymore either.
Carra will get my full support when he pulls the red shirt on, just as Gerrard does. But if carra really has done this he will never be the same fella in my eyes again.
This doesnt mean a ****in thing like in the grand scheme of things like but there you go.

did he have a pick of the nationals though ?
Did he have Sports Editors from them camped outside his house with contracts in their hands ?

Do you not think that his agent could have got him another paper. Let's face it Carra is a hero. Who wouldn't want him? Even if not, why settle for sloppy seconds?
Didn't Owen ask for clearance from the HJC to write for the notw before? Now that I'm thinking about it haven't Stevie, Robbie, Owen (when he was here), Rushie, Kenny etc... all had article printed in that newspaper before? I'm not saying that makes it right but it's still a vald point.
You can't discriminate against Carra for doing it without having a go at all the others.
I agree that it wasn't his best decision though becaue he should have known that it would cause some controvesy.
