People get special treatment for things all the time. It's not wrong as long as people are being genuine and reasonable about their need to take time off work. Be that for attending a funeral, doing a day of fasting, or having a day of dancing naked in a forest whilst chanting prayers. I don't give a **** what it is, as long as it's a reasonable request and the person does actually genuinely feel a profound need to attend/do this then ****ing let them. Employers are not owners ffs.

I love hypothetical scenarios though me. I really do. I find them lots of fun. I know thats weird and I should go and see a doctor, but I enjoy them

My hypothesis is that you are a hypochondriac suffering from hypothermia and hypoglycaemia. I suggest you you are hypnotised by a hypopotamus.
                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

no i did exaggerate it just to magnify the point.

personally though, i don't see yossi as a squad player. i think he's fab. i think he's the archetypal liverpool player. i really really rate him. and his ingenuity would have meant i'd have picked him against brum (or boro )

i think with me, the more they earn, the less slack i'm prepared to give them.

i think the match should cost around a tenner personally. its largely due to the huge (no, obscene) wages earned by mere footballers that its 35 quid instead.

while they earn such silly money largely out of our pockets, the less reasonable i find myself being towards them, and the less the employer-employee analogy holds.

it may not make me right, and it may well be that everyone should be able to practice whatever stuff they believe in even if there's a match on, but the more they're paid, the less understanding i get about it.
