I can't complain either. But playing Babel and Benayoun wide is a mistake...playing neither of them (okay, particularly Benayoun) regularly is another mistake. I feel even with more backing in the coming window(s) he would buy well but use badly.
I guess he could find himself in a Chelsea-like scenario where he has practically two elevens to pick from and the quality all over the park would cushion/accomodate his philosophy....
No, we won't know anything until certain scenarios are encountered, but we each have our views
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
It happens every year we are always the side furthest out of contention and we dont win it. If utd beat us we are truly fcuked and out of the race simple as because rafas decisions over the season will cost us more games. I have respect for the man for what he has done for the club as he has brought us to a higher level but as far as his constant rotation policy goes and his sometimes mind boggling selections im fed up and it won't land the league title.
I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.
Seems to set in his ways/methods, some of which fail to translate to English league play, and he hasn't learned from his mistakes, to evolve even, and that's a worry, because it's what did for Ged.

When we're given £40m net to spend per summer, every summer - we can expect to compete with United. To even be considered title contenders is an achievement, when you consider the squad Rafa inherited just 3 and a half years ago.
