Thanjk you.

It's not always about roaring your head off like Roy Keane or John Terry. Anyway I think a team needs several leaders on the pitch and shouldn't be reliant on just one - that's where we are lacking, other than with Carra.
He doesnt need to roar his head off, just keep it high and keep fighting. Instead of hiding, as he did in the 2nd half today.
So because he's got an armband he should automatically play better than everyone else, and if he doesn't lets flame him?
Yes, that's clearly what i said...
A captain has a responsibility to rally his teammates when things arent going well. He should've been talking more, getting players' heads up and encouraging. Instead, he just dropped his head and hid. Bit of a cowardly 2nd half performance from him.
As for dropped, if a player is out of form, why should he have a 'god given right' (i think it was you called it, in the Crouch thread) to start, regardless?
Shame Alonso's out, because it means Gerrard HAS to start at the moment, whether he's performing or not.
He's a player, he's not god. If he plays poorly, he shouldnt keep his place. Especially not when the rotation system leaves GOOD performers sitting on the bench in the next game.
Last time alonso played he was no better.Play Alonso for three draws and everyone will be calling for SG to come back.
Instead of hiding, as he did in the 2nd half today.
Sorry I can't see that and I didn't see that in the game today. There's got to be a better explanation for his lack of form. I don't buy the lack of heart thing. Where did that suddenly come out of after years of busting a gut for the team?
Maybe I'm a blind optimist but the sledging he's getting on here today is OTT at its best.
Gonna hit the sack here myself boys, been good talking about this. A topic i feel very strongly about and have done for a long time now.
Perhaps we'll have Gerrard coming on LFC.TV apologising to the fans for his gutless performances of late, wouldn't bet on it though.
Night lads.

Sorry mate, but every time i looked at him when we lost possession, he was looking at the ground instead of busting a gut to get back and win the ball back.
It wasnt just me who thought this either. He just didnt seem to want it enough.

Hopefully you`ll do the same on the "Barred" thread.
