I think losing Agger has hurt us more as we have lesser cover for his position.

Of course I can see the importance of Alonso but you people are overemphasizing it and acting like he's the Messias. He's not. There is little he could have done to make us look better forward. What did he do for us against Pompey? He played the HM and he did very little for us going forward. He would have played HM in the other matches as well with 90% certainty = Little impact up field. Look at his stats for goals and assists as a HM and you will see the picture.

And take your and shove it up your ass.

I think CAD is blinkered by his preference for playing SG in the centre.

SG on the right in a more free role, mate.
        You know it makes sense.

Can I see the picture of this, where you actually kiss your arse and talk to it?

          Cheers, skolebolle.

Xabi has been sorely missed in terms of dictating our play and moving the ball quicker.

I dont think hes been missed in terms of out and out chances we create.

I agree with Cad that I, just like him, thinks that Alonso wouldn't have made a any difference at all considering the goalscoring.
Also that Agger is more missed than XA.

And I didn't mean to imply you moan at the match either. I just feel Xabi's importance is underestimated. Even when playing poorly he can be influential, and we do miss him when he's out. We have been so disjointed the last few games, and that's something we rarely are when Xabi's in the team, and I think it's no coincidence.

In any case, thank you for making a considered response for a change instead of just laughing at someone's post.

Alonso are our engine and Gerrard the fuel that powers it. Mascherano is the airbag that protect the back four.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                    Is Torres the seat Belt?

                    Pennant the baby seat?

                    Carra the bumper?

                    And

                    Rafa the spoiler?

                        The opposite.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Quaresma on the right makes sense to me. Or another out and out winger of high class. We don't have that player.

Many of the games we played with Gerrard on the right resulted in constipation at CM and us playing with no RM. Zero balance.

We need a class act like Ronaldo out there. Quaresma profile.

Gerrard has been far away from his best this season. We can only hope that he will start performing. If he doesn't get it right at CM then we can't win anything this season. We have nobody else who can take on his role.

                              Gerrard is key.
