it just smacks of a bad money grabbing attitude to me
So why is he going through his 2.5 hour getting ready for training every day then?

If he had that attitude then he would have moved to another club than us that offered him more money.

He also played through the pain barrier for months because Rafa needed him on the pitch.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

There's no doubting Kewell's ability, and I don't think we can doubt Rafa's faith in him either. He is class 'on his day', problem is, as we all know he hasn't had many of those days. If he was a lazy arse and jogging round a training pitch like peeps are saying, why would Rafa show so much faith in him like he has done in the past (Istanbul for starters).

I just want to see him back again...
Can you imagine a fully fit, on form Harry Kewell in the current side - he would definitely be ONE of the missing links.
"Even men with steel hearts love to see a dog on the pitch". It generates a warmth around the ground that augurs well for mankind and that's what life's about. Trouble is these days you never see a dog on the pitch".

Rafa shows all the lazy players the door even before it's made.

and Terry Mac used larger to warm up.

            didn't do him any harm.

Could be sour grapes from your insider?

Everyones different, trains differently but its what they do on the pitch that matters IMO.
If he has had constant injuries or not feeling100% this will effect everything - tonight he looked very good and up for it.
Time will tell but i'd prefer a Harry Kewell for 1/4 a season than a Ciise for a whole one.

Kewell has the ability to be the world class winger or front man as he was tonight.

Kewell, Yossie and Babel interchanged smoothly. Defo the best option we have.
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

It's not a Kewell bashing thread. If Iceman says he had a "source" then he's built up enough integrity over the years to deserve a little bit of faith. I pay attention to what he says because I know he's a genuine man not a WUM.
If you have got a different point of view then why not post it rather than just trying to disrespect someone else? It would be taken a lot more seriously

Yes, saw that, terrific effort to overcome the mighty Cardiff...

But seriously, if your rock-solid source is correct, do u honestly think Rafa is the type to put up with that type of attitude? No, me either....

He never said it was rock solid, just a source, someone who would have access to that information. Doesn't mean the source is right though.

                    I agree 100%

I am not knocking Kewell as a player its just that we have never seen the Harry Kewell we all thought we had signed................ yes we have seen flashes of brilliance but we have never seen any consistency................ plus I have heard he has a reluctant attitude to training

Excuse me for actually posting my opinion. If i have surveyed the thread correctly, the title and first post were asking how he played in th Cardiff game. And as usual, it degenerated into somebody saying that he was lazy, and had a "bad, money-grabbing attitude". Sounds like Kewll-bashing to me, sorry to offend you and one of your buddies...

Iceman has delivered before so there is no reason to doubt his source but sometimes even the best source get it wrong. Not even Johnny H got everything right.

Not a question of offending anyone, but it really wasn't a Kewell bashing thread, maybe a couple of posts were but that was it. And it wasn't just tired old accusations, there was a new piece of info there that we don't hear all the time i.e. it was from a source in Melwood.
Anyway, what do I care, Kewell's LFC career has been a ****ing disaster.

Maybe everyone should read my first post in this thread where I answered the original question as honestly as I had seen it (from seat C9 of the paddock)

I merely said that it could be another false dawn

my former source is no longer at melwood so maybe things have changed but i dont know

Kewell looked alright when he came on, nothing special. Actually looked better when he moved into the centre, although he did leave their right back for dead in one move.
