There has long been rumours of an illness (Hepatitis C was the one I remember hearing about). I'm fairly sure that it was found out in the end not to be true but I can't remember any particular evidence either way.

If not he will join somewhere that will pay good wages, Fulham etc
I reckon Kewell would accept such a deal also, as he would prefer to be around Liverpool rather than shipped off to some smaller club

Now that you mention it I do remember Hep C somewhere but just took it for internet imagery.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

          .

the statement to show that his heart is in it should be on the pitch not from wages - 70k per week is a lot but in the grand scheme of this its nothing.

A fit Harry could save us 10M in the transfer market.

agreed not only save us 10 million in the transfer market but a fully fit kewell would give us our only natural left winger at the club. could finally play two proper wide men in him and pennant (when he gets fit agin)
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

True. And the 10M could come in very handy

Well, Kewell was one of our best when he came on against Blackburn.

One of our only players who shows a willingness to take on his man.

Hopefully he gets his fitness up soon, because we need him to start.

He showed in the 20 mins or so he was on what how effective wingers should be, by his play, awareness and decision making.

Babel or Yossi are no wingers. Always cutting inside and offering us no width whatsoever.

Pennant is, but he's ****in ****e. Can't stand his ****in attitude either.

No wonder our strikers are starved of service and we're struggling to score goals.

I thought he played very well. Looked fit, slim and had a sublime first touch. Given a few weeks he could be the spark we need. Only when SG, Kewell and Crouch were all on did we look good going forward.

Kewell is our best winger by a mile, that is a fact.

Not only is he better attacking, he also knows when to attack and when to track back, that give our midfield much more stability.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
