Firstly I like Mourinho. I think he has a bit of character about him, is undoubtably an excellent coach and he has an excellent understanding of the game. However the beauty of this world is that everyone is different so if people think he is a ****house then that is there perogative.
However, and I am repeating something that has been stated many, many times over the past few days, we already have a manager (and a ****ing great one at that) who has shown total respect for the fans, came in to a club that was frankly in a bit of a mess, won big, big games and trophies with a firstly mediocre, then developing team and who, with time, will lead us to even greater things. The discussion of whether or not Mourinho is a suitable alternative should be academic for any Liverpool fan as long as Rafa is still in the job. We shouldn't be talking about what we would do if Mourinho came in as opposed to another manager, we should be talking about everything we can do to show support for Rafa (and if Revo's post is right it looks like he isn't going anywhere although granted I interpreted it the way I wanted to).
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.
My mate in work writes for the official site so was at the press conference yesterday and he reckons he is definitely going, Jose will take over in summer and Paco will be caretaker manager til then.
Is this serious RH? I don't remember you mentioning this contact before...
