I wouldn't be suprised to see the DIC's start sniffing around again if this cloud does not lift from the club soon.

If I was DIC I would watch and wait

The Americans look like they are struggling who knows how bad the situation could be in 6-12 months time

Someone who is patient could get the club for a song under the right economic and football conditions
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

but, DIC, if they remain remotely interested are not going to purchase at a higher fee than the americans bought the club for.

and all articles seem to suggest that the americans are not prepared to sell for a loss.

Like Lecter I think that if anyone can make us Champions despite all the restrictions and bull**** its Rafa.
So as long as we are solvent and have Rafa in charge I refuse to top myself.
That said I am liking the yanks less and less each passing day and I am concerned about whats happening to us.

If it becomes clear that this is becoming a costly adventure for them, they might jump ship...who knows.

Remember also ther club was in £90 million debt when the Americans took over which would mean that the amount that could be secured against the clubs assets would be £90 million less for a start

Are your sure its £ 90m though ? I've seen £ 45m being quoted in a BBC report.

I don't believe for one second that DIC will ever come back.

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

sorry, the best word to decribe this thread IS melodrama

lfc is in a lot better shape than dec 2006

the americans are going to run the club in a sound commercial way - we should be glad about that, not hysterical.

tom is a good poster but has always had depressive/pessimistic tendencies. a well respected poster pm'd me that hes actually frazer out of dad's army

we should all take his post in that light.

the echo is to some extent, the club's mouthpiece but that doesnt mean every tale of doom from the echo's sportsdesk is gospel.

weve just lost to the scum and the chavs in the space of 4 days, the days have drawn in and its depressing.

i'm making a speculative diagnosis of seasonal affective disorder in a prominent poster and looking forward to beating pompey and filling my face full of christmas fayre.

I think we should delete this thread and bump tom's previous one about getting behind the team back up at the top of the list where it belongs.
