It's not because we played with 2 holding midfielders that we've drawn, it's because we couldn't score from clear cut chances, a familiar failing this season.
Did you watch the match Fredo, I mean really watch it without moving away from the screen to have a WANK or go for a piss ?
If the answer is no then the most polite thing I can say to you is GO GET YER EYES checked.
We were average today, there was no build up play, no cohesion no movement..this team needs at least 6 players to replace the Aurelios, Kewells, Pennants and such.
I have had enough of mediocre results against mediocre teams.
AND PLEASE STOP telling everyone that all is ok..IT AINT FOOKING ok.
WE ARE LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB and we deserve better than this and if you cant see that then go support Nantes or Metz or any other fooking French team or whatever the fook tickles yer fancy. There Ive said it now.

We're less than an hour after a humiliating result against Wigan at home and you start telling fans who care about this club to get a grip.
You're losing your entertainment value fredo.
Humiliating result or not it's silly blaming it on Rafa. I can't see what was his fault today. We played well. At times our passing was the best I've seen all season. The goal was fantastic. I'm as frustrated as you, cue the hot tempered arguments but I can't bear silly comments such Rafa won't win us the league.

We're getting there. We're just probably one or 2 world class players short. Sack Rafa and we'll be starting all over again. He's doing a great job.

                Random observation.

Why did some our players resist the ball to feet up front and pass backwards instead? Very frustrating how many potential moves broke down because we didn't 'trust' Torres (say) with a difficult ball to feet.

Oh, and 4-3-3 is what Mourinho plays.... but he probably would have played Babel or Benny instead of Pennant.

:whatever: He brings it on himself trying to wind people up after a result like that.
First point Wigan have got against the top 4 and it's at Anfield and less than an hour later he's telling people to get a grip. I would understand it if I had been outrageously irrational but I haven't.
Bottom line : He loves the drama.

FFS, we are like 10 years behind the Scum. Our play is 10 years behind the Arse. We will get a UEFA Cup spot. We need an over-haul. New owners and new manager

                      Just to repeat

Wigan lost 2-0 away to Arsenal, 4-1 away to Bolton, 3-2 away to Birmingham, 4-0 away to Manu, 2-1 away to Reading, 1-0 away to Newcastle, yet we played with Torres on his own with Gerrard in a makeshift formation with 2 Strikers on the bench.....

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

I'm more pissed off at some of the decision making on the pitch. I always see teams play a quick forward pass and then shield the ball whereas we ALWAYS bass sideways or backwards.

Even Derby played some one touch football.

I'm deeply disappointed in the team today but not Rafa. He must be well pissed with the players although he should have made some subs earlier.

Crouch on for the last 10 minutes is not good enough.

It should have been Alonso and Pennant off with Benny and Crouch on at the 60 minute mark.

You're the wind up merchant Kaip. I'm a bad looser like most in here and you're coming with these type of comments.

                                The simple things of football.

Gerrard and Mascherano had two chances to score in the first half, easy chances. Gerrard's chance was ridiculously easy, yet he failed to score being alone against the keeper with no defenders around him.

Another thing, Wigan get a free kick 45 yards from goal. They punt it in the box. Crap ball, no direction, straight to Gerrard. No Wigan defender around him, no pressure, he slices it at Mascherano. Mascherano tries to control it but it flicks right into Bramble's path. Wigan's only shot at goal, is a goal.

Then Gerrard, has a chance to redeem himself. After a great build up play, he shoots, Kirkland saves but can't control the ball, he's on the ground. Alonso and Gerrard race for it and kinda hinder each other's angle to the ball. Gerrard, from point blank, manages to hit it straight at the grounded keeper. Amazing.

What did Rafa have to do with it. Why do the mancs for example, manage to get the following results, without conceding that "freak" goal, does everything seem to go their way?

                                Sunderland 1-0
Tottenham 1-0 (Tottenham had amazing chances to win it before conceding)
                                Birmingham 1-0 (twice)
Everton 1-0 and 2-1 (both winners in the last 10 minutes)
                                Liverpool 1-0

Do you honestly think this has anything to do with a bloody formation? We fail in things managers are not supposed to teach players.

Why play 1 striker against a side that is relegation threatened?
                                I'll talk slowly.

ARSENAL. ADEBAYOR. EBOUE AT RM. ROSICKY AT LM. HLEB BEHIND ADEBAYOR. ONE STRIKER. Happened most of this season, at home and away.

CHELSEA. DROGBA. TWO WINGERS BEHIND HIM. Countless of times, home and away.

Why leave Kewell for 75 mins when he is clearly not up for it?
What does this have anything to do with Gerrard unable to clear a simple ball from this box and us not finishing the chances we created even when Kewell was on the pitch?

I dont understand bringing on two strikers with 5 mins to go, why not earlier?
                                Because they equalized?

This is bull****, **** this. Why would you give the Manager more money to spend when this sort of dross is served up ? Shattered.
Yes, Rafa is clearly to blame.
