I dont think 300 pounds would go that far, to be fair

I get what you're saying about money, but to be honest, our current squad isnt a million miles away. Chelsea's squad needed MUCH more work done on it when Mourinho took over than ours does currently.

I think Mourinho could take £50m and win us the title.

I think that would be the point where we cease to be the special club we currently are, and instead become a souless ruthless sports franchise

But to be honest mate, I've liked how Jose handled the media and created 'enemies' with his rivals. By creating this us against them mentality, he had Chelsea as virtually unbeatable at one point. Fergie does it also when the chips are down.

But for me, Rafa is the man and he should be given until at least the end of his contract. I don't think these yanks thinks the same though.

Sometimes i think some of our fans just want a nice cuddly sweet little manager rather than a winner.
I admit it would be sad to sack Rafa, I was more sad when Roy Evans was forced out by Houllier because roy was one of us. Sure Rafa's a nice guy but that's not in the job description, number 1 priority is to manage the team to achieve it's potential.

i`d like a level playing field where rafa can compete in the transfer market.then we`d see if he`s as good as Fergie and Jose.

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

It'll NEVER happen. It never will. We wil never have a bigger transfer budget as SCUM and probably also Arsenal in the near future.

We need someone who can buy a 7 million pound player and get the performance of a 15 million pound player out of them on a consistent basis.

Depends what happens with the new stadium.

Really?!? I must be overtired. Did it just start to move again recently then? I get this strong sensation that something has changed.

Ahh well, I gotta sleep now. Cya mate

Well if we fill a 90000 seater every week then I suppose that's true, but who pays for the stadium?

Seriously, I can't see a day where we have the same transfer budget as SCUM.
