Nothing's changed mate - except maybe the strength of what ever you're smoking

Seriously, I can't see a day where we have the same transfer budget as SCUM.
But you mentioned arsenal - they're still paying for their stadium too.

No reason why we shouldnt be the same - pay it back as we go with help from an enormous turnover.

You're clearly wrong in the head, if you're waking up at 8:20am on a sunday

If Mourinho were to come (and I am certainly not an advocate of it, give me Rafa anyday) then the one good thing to come of it would be that if we were to be put back on our perch it would doubly piss Ferguson of as (A)it would be us and (B) it would be Mourinho who did it. Mourinho's a lippy bugger too and would really rub it in.

p.s please read line one before you criticise me.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Although I absolutely hate the man, just maybe Maureen may have the minerals to beat Sir Slur.

I love Rafa to bits and I hope the yanks decide to back him properly, but with the constant speculation I think it is only a matter of time before he goes, I am so sory to say.

Welcome to the site buddy. Jose will demand/need lots of cash to beat beat sir slur. Rafa can do it with half of this amount. The question is whether the owners are prepared to put their $$$$$ where our hearts are. To lose Rafa will be a tragedy IMHO.

                              Madrid to rescue doomed Benitez
                              Exclusive by Simon Mullock 06/01/2008

Rafa Benitez fears he will be sacked as Liverpool manager by the summer.

But he will be offered a job by Real Madrid, who have made it clear through intermediaries that they want their former youth team coach to succeed Bernd Schuster at the end of this season.

Real believe the odds are now stacked against Benitez's long-term survival at Liverpool.

Bayern Munich and AC Milan are also monitoring the power struggle that is simmering between Benitez and his employers.

American owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett met Benitez last month to discuss a relationship which had reached breaking point.

But Sunday Mirror Sport understands that bringing a new manager to Anfield next season remains a genuine prospect.

Sources close to Jurgen Klinsmann claim the German has already been sounded out about moving to Merseyside from his California home.

Benitez has twice resisted overtures from Real to quit Liverpool - as well as an approach from Inter Milan.

A dearth of transfer cash remains a real frustration to Benitez and there has been no contact made about the possibility of extending the manager's contract beyond 2010 - even though the Spaniard opened the door to the prospect as he looked to make his peace with Hicks and Gillett.

The fact that Liverpool are still to inform Javier Mascherano whether they will look to seal a £17m deal with his handlers MSI at the end of the season is also adding to the uncertainty continuing to surround Benitez's future at the club.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Hmm....So both The Sunday Mirror and NOTW runs the same story. Sounds like another leaked story by the Moores camp to get our support and to get rid of G&H.
