I fail to see how appointing the best available coach would go against 'everything' the club stands for.

And in any case, things have changed now under the yanks, the values of the past arent there anymore sadly. If they're the basis for our support, then we're going to be looking for something that isnt there anymore.

I agree with you. Jose pissed me off with his antics but I think the way he handled the media and creating these rivalries with other managers, all but helped his team achieve greater success, because it was an us against them mentality.

But on pure tactical and football terms, he was outsmarted and outwitted by Rafa. We played the better football and Rafa is a true man of the people.

How do you distinguish between withdrawing support for G&H and withdrawing support for LFC?

As I've already explained, by not lining their pockets - ie not purchasing LFC merchandise (replica kits, and I buy everyone that comes out, sometimes more than one of each if I want different names on them), or attending home matches. Will watch the games on Sky and support the team from home instead, or try to get to more away matches instead.

I can't show my support for a man who deliberately lied about the Reading ambulance crew when Cech got injured. The bloke is a total and utter scum bag of the highest proportions. I think youre in the same boat as me mate.

If the yanks get rid of rafa and bring mourinho in I have stated myself (and i mean it, its not a kneejerk reaction) that I will not spend one more penny on the club while he is manager and they are chairman.

This doesnt mean i wont be wanting liverpool to win every game they play, just that I would refuse to hand over one ****ing pence to them if this were to happen.
