Thanjk you.

Sorry not going into this again. I'm not "GUESSING" I've passed on information from people who claim they have a pretty good idea of what is happening.
Concrete evidence. Don't be naive, what do you want a copy of Rafa's P45.
They're happy because they are professional journalists who've got an exclusive. Yes a lot of the newsroom are supportive of Rafa, don't see how that contradicts my statement though.
I'm not going to disagree they would be happy with the story Tom however Jonsie did say they are happy with the story not only on a professional level but also because they are behind Rafa.
Maybe i`m just naive lads but I think youre both reading too deeply into it.
He is distancing himself from weekend media reports that were claiming he was looking to go to another club in the summer. He is stating clearly that he doesnt want to go anywhere as was claimed in the press and he only sees his future at liverpool
Yep, because Rafa has never used the media to publicly get his message across before.
I could be as you say just clearing up the rumours that he might resign, but interesting that there was little mention of being sacked and no quotes on the topic when speculation that G&H are looking to replace him is far more rife than Rafa leaving.
It's not often that there isn't smoke without fire when it comes to football managers in this country, and maybe it is being too negative but I see it more as looking at from a different angle and in my opinion either are possible.

If you look at my post, I say "I'm guessing here" so please wind your indignation back in.

Of course he wants to stay. Who wouldn't, biggest club in the world, best supporters.

Very naughty, taking my posts out of context. I said I was guessing about rafa briefing off the record viz these comments today. The other stuff I was most definately not guessing at. Take it or leave it but don't twist what I say. It's most ungentlemanly
I'd say Rafa being able to sign or sell a couple of more players in January will be a real indication on his standing with the owners.
Spot on Tomas
I've heard enough speculation and hints on both sides - if we announce a couple of signings that will be enough for me to show that the storm has blown over
At a football club there's a holy trinity- the players the manager and the supporters, Directors dont come into it, they are only there to sign the cheques " - Bill Shankly

As I say mate, the current media frenzy can have you (not you personally, i mean in general) looking for things that arent there.
Yeah I know Rafa is the king of using the media for his advantage, he wrote the book on it. But I genuinely see this article as just what it is, a refutal of weekend media claims. I dont think he would have even bothered his arse responding to it at all if it hadnt of been made out that the stories were coming from him.

Listen mate,I`m very happy that you post inside information on this site.Youv`e come up with the goods many times and we`re all very gratefull.
Your take on the Rafa/board situation has not been your shining glory though.
I`m not trying to put you down but at a time when there`s speculation from the press about Rafa`s job you`ve been standing with a gallon of petrol to help fan the flames.
I'm not going to disagree with that Archie but I fail to see how Rafa stating that he doesn't want to go anywhere following stories that he thinks his future lies away from the club at the weekend can be taken as anything other than Rafa setting the record straight.
Rafa also states that his relationship is better with the yanks and that they are all working together so I can't see how that would get on their tits.
It's just an alternative view point and one which I hope is wrong, but Rafa is very good at using the media get his message across be it to the board or to the fans and I've never seen him come out like this before, last summer he was going to Real Madrid according to some of the media and that didn't end in a passionate outburst from the manager about his love for LFC etc....
It's just my opinon, but I don't think he's comfortable right now, I think he wants to stay and he's building support for himslef which is exactly what he should do if that is the scenario.
