fact is rafa is the manager and we are building a big new stadium and seem to be buying a few players......my daggers will be out when this doesnt seem to be happening, if we get masher.......the yanks will have broken our transfer record for a defender, midfielder and attacker!!

Torres accepted, but our net spending was still only in line with what we've spent in previous summers.

Rafa's still manager, but the intense speculation surrounding his future continues, and IMO the yanks have not done all they can to diffuse it.

Hope the marketing trend continues, but I was in the club shop last Wed and they didn't have any short sleaved European away kits. Again. It was the same back in September (and the release of this kit was delayed as IIRC). Whatever improvements are being made we still have the same problem - ie it's too difficult getting the merchandise you want directly from the club.

The fans know all is not right with our owners behaviour so far, so if the club does'nt come out & make a statement on Rafa job being safe or their commitment to our club, it's only natural that fans hungry for info look to these unscrupilous tossers in the media, so much of this could be put to bed with a word or two from the club.

Torres and Babel, plus a stadium that will be much better than the 60K bore that we had lined up before they came along

There's perfectly good reasons why clubs are financed in such a way, it's a more efficient way of finance.
