    Does he really believe this?

    Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez:
"In this position, you cannot think about the leaders, you must think about the next game.

"You can play well, you can create chances, but you need to win.

"When you talk about a draw away, sometimes you think that is good, but when you are trying to reduce a gap, you must be disappointed."

No one with eyes watching that game could think we played well! I just hope this is simply media fodder and that behind the scenes Rafa is ripping them new arseholes for that performance.

Let's start a petition to have Rafa sacked and replaced with Sam Allardyce...

no your problem was you acted on your thoughts, nothing more than that.

none of us want him sacked,we all want rafa to be the one who gets it right, but
at the same time weve all wondered is he the right man,ALL OF US.

ffs some people reactions just because you were a bit to hasty with the thread is ridiculous.

were all ****ing grown men and we should all start realizing that supporting a team is an emotional nightmare.

and sometimes we say things we regret in a matter of minutes, thats all charlie has done, the guy has admitted it,stop ****ing over reacting and give the guy a break.

god forbid were not all 100% positive at all times

my thoughts exactly.............pretty soon we will be back on the magic roundabout turning corners !!!!!!!!

something is obviously not right at the club.......everybody seems to think that it is purely the argument about transfer targets but im not so sure that there is not something else as well

i reckon that there is a big problem with crouch

also, xabi hasnt played well in about 18months.....i know he's been injured in that time but he doesnt control games like his first season here.....

also, on another topic.....we were regarded as a one man team for a couple of years but we actually ARE a one man team now......torres!

I'm a big fan of Rafa and as long as he's our manager will continue to back him. BUT (you knew it was coming, didn't you). You cant deny that between the A) terrible passing, B) lack of spirit and C) lack of communication, we play like a group of players thrown together instead of as a team. The negative side of Rafa's rotation policy?

All i'll say is that we are stuck in a bit of a rut form and confidence wise. All its going to take is a little win, possible against Luton and we will kick on for the last 5 months.

Top 4 is a definite this season easy! The league is maybe a touch to far, but i was honestly really looking to next season as the one

Lucas, Babel, Insua to be regluars next season with a couple of major buys in the summer. We are really really close to being there!! if only 2 draws had been turned into wins this season we would be rite in the mix.

Dont lose faith people. We are soooooooo close lets not rip the plan up and start again

This place needs a dose of positivity. I was ready to get the bottle of whiskey and the painkillers after some of the ****e i've been reading tonight.

The players are clearly low on cofidence and Rafa seems to think giving the performance a public slating on tv will not help. What's wrong with that? Rafa's priority is to do what is in the best interests for the team, not come out with comments that the fans will respect.
