Well, I only look at what they invest in and they invest a lot of money in tourism and to get Dubai to be the place that the rich people want to live in.

The oil will run out one day and if they don't invest in the area and in the DIC brand then they will be in a lot of trouble when that happens.
They need to get their money from something else than oil when it runs out.
"Dubai Country Guide
Many people fail to distinguish Dubai from Dubai City, when in fact Dubai is one of the seven Emirates of the United Arab Emirates with Dubai City the main city of the state. Dubai is the second largest of the seven Emirates although it has the largest population, and perhaps the most well known throughout the western hemisphere..
It is distinguished from the other Emirates by the fact that only 6% of the countries revenues are derived from oil - a main source of income for many of the cash rich countries of the Middle East. Dubai is one of the best developed states in the world, attracting a high ratio of professionals from all over the world."
Please STOP talking out of your ass. I'm getting tired of your nonsense. :whatever:
Do some ****ing research before you post ffs!

wouldn't be happy with Maureen, but all our competitors have blank cheque books. look what Man U and Chelsea have to spend.Originally posted by CharlieMansonsSquint View PostFair play to the pair of you for admitting it.
I just wonder if the majority of people would be happy if DIC came in, hired Mourinho and then gave him a blank cheque book and won us the league?
Sure I'd be happy we won the league, but it wouldn't mean as much, would it?
i don't think you can say one buys the league by spending the sort of money that your main competitors spends.
when blackburn had a sugar daddy then you could say it. when chelsea stood alone you could say it. both clubs came from nowhere.
we are one of the top 4 teams in the country consistently and recent european champions.
if someone opened their cheque book and we spent it on great players it's no more than Chelsea and Man U are doing so I don't see how anyone can say it was bought.
it would simply level the playing field a bit.

Why do I get the impression that G&H want to build us up even further before they sell though. They see the reported profit of £150m as not enough, and think they could get much more if the stadium and marketing projects were complete. I think at the end of the day, they are here short term. Be it before they build a new stadium, or not long after.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
