I agree that last week the only real negatives came on the pitch. New signing and upbeat messages about the stadium, and this was largely unrecognised by the masses. I think you have hit the nail on the head that performances haven't helped our current situation (9 points from 7 matches I think and a horror show against Luton).

I suppose we won't know anything for the next 5 months as it is. Once the season ends then the Rafa speculation will end. We can shift some of the knackers that currently occupy key positions in the first team and start to bring in some real class. Alternatively we could go bankrupt, be forced to bring in Andy Cole on a free, get Barry Venison as the new manager. But yes, you are correct, in the era of mass hysteria speculation should be discussed without being taken as fact.

The yanks won't sell if they can get the loans without paying a deposit... but if they can't they will have no option but to sell and DIC want in but only at the right price.

Two things. Why would they pay £150 mill more to people desperate to sell.

Secondly, what the hell has it got to do with Moores and Parry. So what if they're open to DIC. Who cares? They may as well report that me and kopdan are open to DIC. It's irrelevant what an employee and an honorary token think about anything now.

Parry was due to go the last time DIC were in, so I guess he would get the bullet if they came in again. As for Moores and Parry, as board members they get a vote on ownership.

IF the story in the observer is correct or even close, we'd be a lot better off and they have the financial muscle to put large sums directly into the stadium and the team immediately. How they'd finance that we don't know, as we don't know the details, but it would mean we would be competing on an even footing with the chelskis and utds of this world a lot sooner than we could ever hope for with the current owners.

That's exactly what most people were thinking about the Americans in the run up to the CL final.
