    My sentiments exactly.

i hate G&H for what they've turned LFC into. Their treatment of Rafa has been disgracefull, sitting 5000 miles away, turning up for glory games and criticising the manager in public. Rafa was wrong to criticise them in public but you can only imagine what he's had to put up with to make him do that.

I'm against the whole trial by media circus mentality that normally follows any sort of scandal. However I am starting to turn aainst the American, not because of any business incompetance that has been reported, but because the club is becoming the equivilant of a page three girl. We are simply becoming some tart with her tits out in the tabloids for everyone to look at and the embarrasment that this is causing is totally unacceptable.

I would hope that any regime that ends up in ultimate control would be able to conduct itself with a level of professionalism and dignity in order to avoid muddying our good name. Whether I would invite short term failure is another matter entirely.

(I also assume that your comment was sorta tongue in cheek though so don't take this as a dig at yourself)
I know it would cost Rafa his job I dont want him sacked but sometimes you have to make tough decisions and take some medicine before you get better

As I have said before I would sacrifice Rafa to get rid of our current owners

I would be sad to see him go but the flipside of the coin is Statler & Waldorf would be gone to
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

No chance mate, I understand Hitler was more of a dominoes fan.

If Klinsmann was ever offered the job (yesterday I was willing to believe it was his agent and Bayern making mischief but if he wasn't why hasn't the club denied it?) then the yanks must go, because simply it is a moronic decision and proves their lack of knowledge of the game and that they are out of their depth running a global football institution.
Is it not enought for you that Klinsman said during his pc (or so it was reported on Sky) when he was unveiled at Bayern, that he had NO contact with any British clubs?

How can you show up a fancy new super stadium without first having secured the funds to build it?

You show up the stadium plans when you are 100% sure that you will build it or you will look like idiots.

They are after one thing and one thing only, money and don't care a bit about the club.

You are talking poppycock yet again.

Of course they had a business plan.

It was based on the leveraged buy out prinicple. Borrow money to finance the deal. Add value to the company, then sell at a profit (or cream off lots of profit in the meantime). It's what the Glazers have done. But it has gone spectacularly wrong due to the credit crunch.
            Oh I don't know.

DIC will be waiting for the loan deadline to pass, i would speculate that if the loan/finance is successful the probably will not bother, if pinky and perky run into trouble then all bets are off, and expect Moores and Parry to be kicked into touch.
This deal with the Americans and the pace and level of due diligence on both sides, is an absolute mess and the blame sits squarely with Moores and Parry for accepting what appears to be this Trojan Horse. But there is still no firm information as to what the status is, we just bought a player for £6m so from the other side of the fence, whats the problem ? And the fact is our manager is making our team play total ****e..I would think twice about giving him more ££ at this stage that was not necessary.

To be fair, I posted what what I was told. My opinion is based on the balance of evidence, in that regard and the subsequent snowballing of news stories that have backed that information up

They never bid for arsenal last year. They issued a statement saying there was only one premiership club they were interested in buying and that was liverpool.

We really ****ed up the takeover IMO...after all that ****ing time spent hawking ourselves around.

I also have minor doubts about DIC but there's no doubting their financial clout.

I'm dubious about this report but it'll be interesting to see how it pans out.

                          You mis-read my post.

I meant, if they had bid for Arsenal, or any other club, would this guy have said that he was a fan of theirs instead? I didn't mean top imply that DIC had actually bid for Arsenal.

I'm always scepitcal when people proclaim to be lifelong fans when they want something. Be it overseas players that have come from nowhere, or prospective owners.

He's also a great bloke, met him through a mate of mine who runs a club in london.

Just like with the sack Rafa stories, and with the Rafa has no funds from the yanks type ****e.

Sorry mate we've been down this road before. Wait and see is the best approach.

Honestly, read the article, it's laughable. Are we to seriously believe that DIC will give the yanks £75 million type bonus each, for basically gazumping them a year ago?

And to be blunt I don't understand all the clamouring for the arabs, people say they'll run the club better, based on what evidence, have they run a football club before? And what have the yanks done wrong so far, that's not based on silly net and paper rumours?

I think most want DIC to come in and spend money like a drunken sailor in a brothel. If so, admit it.

Al Ansawri was definately a liverpool fan. He was in Istanbul.
