Saturday afternoons would be more enjoyableOriginally posted by rowanad View PostHowever I am starting to turn aainst the American, not because of any business incompetance that has been reported, but because the club is becoming the equivilant of a page three girl. I wonder if Moores was led up the garden path by Parry over who to sell to? Parry had a minor shareholding in the club right? So with the club being bought the yanks, not only did Parry get more for his shares as the yanks topped DIC's bid, but he also kept his job plus got a bonus from the new owners for the successful conclusion of the takeover. And I'm sure he was well aware that DIC would have gotten rid of him, while the yanks promised to keep him on. Suspicious.Originally posted by alunevans View Postyep, the story of his chairmanship doesn't read very well does it. he basically presided over the decline of the greatest football club in the world, and then finished off by selling us to the wrong people. harsh but nonetheless true.White liquid in a bottle = Milk

It is obvious we need the money to compete with the top three. We lack quality in areas of the pitch and we need a new stadium. The Scum pick £3million a game and Arsenal pick £4million a game. In the long term, they will be reaping the rewards and so can we.
I am of the understanding that if DIC do takeover, Rafa will keep his job as the Arabs like Rafa's work and trust him fully

I admit it - I want DIC to come in and throw money at us. If we buy our way to the title intially I don't care - I'll gladly argue with prople in the pub when we're Premiership champions.
1) Anything that stops a nigh on 20 year wait for the title
2) Anything that stops the Scum from down the road overtaking our 18 leagues
I'm not proud - I just still want us to be the best. Once we've won it though I'd like to see a long term investment plan in place to make sure we give ourselves the best chance of staying at the top and competing every year, anddeveloping our own (and hopefully local) talent.
If we've going to stop Utd taking over our English titles mantel we need money now - not in 3-5 years time.

Why would he lie about it? Surely if he told the Bayern press that he'd turned down an opportunity to manage Liverpool to come to Bayern instead, the fans would be behind him even more?Originally posted by Sir Bob View PostAnd its not as if people ever lie do they?
Klinsman may or may not have been offered the job, but it would hardly be surprising if he had.

Well first off he's got business involvements with G&H. They may well have asked him to keep quiet. Secondly, its not not the done thing for many managers. Anyone with any integrity wouldn't announce publically that they've been ofered a job someone else is presently doing.
I'm no saying Klinsman was offered the LFC job, but just because he said he wasn't doesn't mean thats the truth.AKA Heighway No9

I just wonder if the majority of people would be happy if DIC came in, hired Mourinho and then gave him a blank cheque book and won us the league?
Sure I'd be happy we won the league, but it wouldn't mean as much, would it?I hate Polanski
