So Moores sold of because he wasn't rich enough and it looks like we are in the same position now, one year later, with not rich enough owners.

    I don't know if I should or
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

and there is no guarantee that they would run the club better.
As far as iam aware, Godolphin has nothing to do with DIC.

The common denominator is Sheikh Mohamed, but that is it. DIC do not invest in horses.

      Oh I don't know.

One important point is that DIC is building to be a great place when the oil runs out. They want Dubai to be the place to visit and live in if you are mega rich.

They are building to make DIC look like winners, that means that you must be known as winners.

AFII, you simply don't know what you're on about when it comes to business, do you? You are working on the "it sounds good so it must make sense" principle.

The only connections left with the LFC I grew up with are Anfield, and even that's changed a lot, and will eventually go, us as a fan group and Stevie G and Carra, apart from that we're just any other ****in club.

We're hanging onto a thread what makes us special as a club.
FWIW I agree. I was hoping for Dalglish to be involve dwhen the takeover was happening and would hope that IF DIC did coem in they could include him somehow. Given that Rafa's lost Pako, my ideal team with Rafa staying would be:

Kenny - on the Board (life president)

                  Manager: Rafa

Coaches: Sammy Lee, Aldo, Rush, Nicol / McAllister (I'd like Souness but I don't think he's come just as a coach)

Coaches in 3-5 years : Fowler, Carra, Gerrard

Players hopefully in the 1st team squad in 3-5 years: Threlfall, Spearing, Darby, Hammill, Putterill, Peltier, Lindfield

Ok, so they are building everything to keep people out of there, makes a lot of sense.

The oil will run out one day and if they don't invest in the area and in the DIC brand then they will be in a lot of trouble when that happens.

They need to get their money from something else than oil when it runs out.

I think alun had said something about the race horses. and i know its been mentioned in the past about there horses.

but my point was that i bet he doesnt just throw cash at it and that he will make money from stud fees.

If DIC,or anyone for that matter, came in,built us a 70,000 seat stadium and got our commercial operations in order so that we milk every last cent from the Liverpool FC brand and then the sold us I'd be happy. The Manc's were buying the best players for large amounts of wad long before the Glazers arrived.Same with Real Madrid. Those two do it cos of their massive stadiums and the fact that they ring every last penny out of their club names every day,365 days a year.No commercial opportunity is missed and until we rectilfy that we'll always be looking for sugar daddies. We need big wad's right now if we want to challenge soon but long term the answer to our woe's is already there waiting to be used.

One or two know what they are talking about.
The majority just rely on great stories from the London Press.

And the two pricks happily paid over the odds, since they'd already planned to transfer the debt onto the club.
