We had our chief scout looking at Huntelaar. Were would they get the £18m or so from to sign him?
    Speculation again.

I never thought for one sec that DIC would ever return. I will be amazed if that happens.

Turmoil doesn't begin to cover where we're at right now.

Rafa plays it cool and behaves like a perfect Pro. Moores is probably having a stroke somewhere. Krusty is just hiding from everybody. Hicks and Gillett are arguing about whom will give whom a reach around first.

whikle Klinsmann tanks der deutche gods dthad he did not sign for dthese crazy mensch...

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Hard to dream about DIC. You'd be hard pressed to find a more racist and arrogant people than the native citizens of Dubai. They do carry a lot of cash but damn it to hell I would hate to see them take over the club.

Never been there, never met them, can't judge them. But I bet us Cypriots can give anyone a run for their money in the racism stakes. Regardless, I just want these yankee muppets gone. And if it's a straight choice between DIC and Hicks and Gillet, I know which I prefer.

Bloody hell. Its so stupid to judge one person because you dont like other people from his land. How can you say they are all the same? Thats stupid, no?

Anyway you cant blame them for being arrogant, considering westerners regularly go there to party like animals and disturb their peace. Obviously they arent all going to appreciate the western lifestyle and drunken yobs

A work colleague had some interesting info for me last night.

They claim that the reason the stadium plans have been revised is not JUST because H&G can't afford the new stadium and want to put money into the team, but, because H&G want out and DIC has stipulated that H&G have to sort the stadium design out first, to a budget determined by DIC, so that when DIC take over, they are not the ones to come out and say we're not building that space ship stadium H&G wanted. They did say a deal had been agreed in principle though.

Some of you will know the source of this info. Take it with as much scepticism as you like. I'm happy to take the flack if you want to have a pop

Interesting. Please let it be true that they want out. Hope they sell up and **** off soon. They must be delusional if they think they can price the club at 1bn.

Well I only posted it because it ties in with the theme of this thread so I thought it was interesting.
I've no idea how authentic it is
