****ing hell the stench of appeasment on this forum is overwhelming.
The fact he was at a meeting will become knowledge for a start its all over the internet. So his carrer effecitvly is on the line by doing this unless he has his employers Ok.
Why would his carrer be over if he ran this story.
If he ran it with the blessing of the "future" owners or life long member his contacts wouldn't be effected.

Just seems all bollox's reporters and papers that don't report for fear of upsetting people but then on the other hand they do a witch hunt to get managers the sack or ousted.
So reporters are media machines for the club.

So if our club are in the **** he/she should grow someballs and do what's he paid for report.
If it all worked out OK he'd have all the exclusives he wanted from the likes of Moores.

OK if his employers say no then that's another thing. Or he could be putting 2 and 2 together form people putting 2 and 2 together. If there's facts then report them.

But all we have is ifs, maybe, people hearing things, peoples interpritations, seen an email, there are weapons of mass destruction.

From on here and the papers no one knows anything or just put thier interpritation of events for thier own agenda.

There's a helluva lot more evidence in the public domain of what they've done (and haven't despite promises) than there was to go to war in Iraq. I'm finished on here, there's a minority hard-core of appeasers, wets and apologists that are making it a pretty unsavoury place to be.

There are essentially four possible scenarios:

We do nothing/they owners turn out to be sound - good outcome
We do nothing/our worst fears about them are confirmed - we're ****ed
We do something/they turn out to be sound - they work all the harder to get it right
We do something/our worst fears are confirmed - we've tried to make a difference

I can't see how there is any logical argument for doing nothing, based on that

haven;t seen anything unsavoury so to speak - seems there's few who baring no buy out from DIC are prepared to see what the next few months brings up.
And then even DIC could bring all sorts of similar problems

2 months ago Rafa looked to be on his way - no money for players yet we've just signed Masher.

On the face of it it does look a lot different - hence lets see what the next few months brings.

You think G&H will "asset-strip" LFC. I think it sounds a bit silly.
Well, Hicks did exactly that with Corinthians. He took all valuable assets from the club and left them in the ****.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Point about asset stripping is that the club is worth less than the value of the loans, so there is no gain in asset stripping unless things get very bad. They would make a better return by selling on.

That's not to say they won't **** the club over in a multitude of different ways. I just don't think we should be waiting to find out

CAD, why do you think Hicks have tried to cover up in every possible way that the whole debt will be against the club?

I can't believe that so many people have contributed to this thread and are rightly outraged by the debt settled on the club and concerned about what this means for our future. Yet the thread about establishing a new model of ownership that doesn't settle debt on the club is relatively ignored.

Mate, just stay and put them on ignore. There needs to be a balanced opinion on here and if you go that slowly starts to ebb away. I think you should keep on posting and doing what you do.

There will always be some people that don't agree with you. Some of them are Mancs or bluenoses and some of them attention seekers, the rest have buried their head in the sand.

They have put up 220mill£ in assets. They will have to invest more when the stadium moves into next phase.

Yes, LFC will pay full interest. No, it will not be wnough to cover the cost. They will have to bring cash.

                        I can't do this again...

Excuse me if I wait until summer before I make any hasty conclusions.
Wake up and smell the ****. They secured the loan against the club. The 45m for transfers was also loaned AGAINST the club. You think Moores couldnt have taken those loans against the club. He chose not to because it would jeoperdize our future and sold the club ONLY so that this doesnt happen.
Tell me o business genius, does doing what he did to Corinthians, Dallas and other teams make sense to you.
We have seen what he has done to other clubs and now he has taken the same path with us yet you dont want to open your eyes and see the truth.
His own partner is against him, Moores and Parry and other people in much much much more know than you are about the whole situation are against him, yet you want to give him a chance.
I'll say it again....wake up and smell the ****.

                            Absolutely.

I can't see that I have done anything that could piss Tom off other than Ì don't agree with his point of you.

Let's not forget that the war in Iraq was a mistake...

Or, are they going to use the next 18 months to oust Moores and Parry in time to secure the total debt against the club when are they next due to refinance?
