Time to bump the poll then
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I think Hicks doesn't want to sell, I think in his eyes bulding the stadium will add a lot of value to the club and that is when the best time to sell would be, when it's finished and generating a steady income. In that case, Hicks' need/desire to sell depends largely on whether he is able to compelte the refinance, and if the press reports are accurate that it is very close, then a sale is unlikely IMO. I'd put it at about 25%.

No doubt Moores will speak to Hicks privately, and thats the way it should be.
yes you are right but these are strange times. I couldnt imagine Moores doing something like that anyway Hicks would blab to the next journalist he bumped into.

I just can't see Hicks selling his shares. He strikes me as being a real stubborn cnut.

For me, apart from the vast financial resources DIC have, the most important thing would be their take on Rafa. I think he would get on well with Samir Al-Ansari and they would form a formidable team. Bring me DIC!!!!

                  Something else to consider :

If RBS etc. are aware of this other bid, and would prefer the security, then they could well refuse finance to Hicks (or offer extortionate rates). That just makes good business sense.

And I’m sure a few gallons of oil in the RBS’s direction would help make this happen…

I’m not getting too excited, but logically this could well happen…

Hicks is a he will sell if he makes a big enough profit.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Kinda, he was gettin all stressy on TLW when someone voted as a joke that they want G & T to stay at LFC and that people from DIC might see the poll.

I agree with all of you here, such positivness allround towards DIC & the possibility of them Ousting the Yank's, I'm just amazed none of the doom mongers have posted to tell us to stop taking notice of ANY press reports, not to be Hysterical & not to waste time on it. But hey, it's HUGE news & deserves every bit of time & space it gets. It's the future of LFC we're talking about, a future we dreamed of when we 1st heard of DIC'S interest, one we thought had gone & been put into the hands of our present um 'custodians', even if most of us have gone overboard with our musings of what they'd do with the club, it has to be better than what we ended up with, But with DIC their reputation really does preceed them.

Thats quite right. The RBS and Gillette could really fuc*k Hicks up if they wanted to. Also it would be the responsible thing for the RBS to instead of giving Hicks a huge loan that he will then put against the club.
