I became sewiously disillusioned with LFC having to put up with that dour ****e style of play every week. I mean I wouldn't mind if we hadn't got the quality but we had, it was just as if he wouldn't let them go out and play. unbelievable.
I shudder when I think of the football we played under Ged. It does make me angry when I hear how he 'rescued the club' and sorted out the bad attitude of the players off the pitch.

Well, he might have done that but he also destroyed the very beauty of Liverpool FC in my eyes, and that is the football we played. We were the most beautiful team to watch until he came along and that is why I was so strongly against Ged as Manager.

For all his obvious faults even Souness kept the football the Liverpool way. Even to this day our style of play has not recovered. This might sound crazy but for me the most important aspect of Liverpool FC is the style of football - I truly believe once that is restored the success will naturally follow.

    Mini-rant over.

We haven't really played that way for around 10 years, since Houllier came in as joint manager - the first of many Great Ideas from Rick Parry. We need to get the Pass and Move back, hopefully Sammy can do it.

I think that Houllier's health gave way and he went a bit loopy towards the end. I used to shudder at some of his press statements as well. It looked like he was losing it. Thing with him was that I think he could never get the best out of his players. Yes he did buy dross, but if he bought Torres he'd either bench him or play him on the wing or do something to turn what is a legendary player into something very ordinary.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Times i heard the phrase 'We've Turned a Corner', by god we turned some corners in Houllier's time here.

Can't deny that i loved/enjoyed the Treble, the best time he had.

I'll admit that towards the end of his reign I was utterly depressed watching us.

Houllier... we had some good times under the lad (obviously 2001), but all I can think of is his last few years where we played awful football and performed pretty **** in the league.

This 'If only I had that money...' statement is an insult to all the deals that Moores sanctioned for the Frenchman. Jeeeesus... the lad has a short memory. Diouf? Ferri? Cheyrou? etc etc etc.

I've never felt so split about any player or manager before. He made some fantastic signings - Hyypia, Finnan, Hamman etc

Yet he comes out with **** like 'Fowler pretending to eat grass', 'Ten games from greatness' and now this. He bought a huge amount of **** in his time, and then when he bagged two stars in Zeige & Litmanenn he never ****in' played them.

The ironic thing is that we were effectively playing rugby under Houllier.

Apparently didn't play Jari cos he gave Heskey some advice in training

Yep we had our own Bergkamp in Jari and he chose not to play him. In my opinion Jari was just as good and as smart as Bergkamp. Also after waiting almost 18 months for Babbel to recover rather than give him a chance he ****ed him off to blackburn. In my opinion if babbel had have been given a chance he would have been just as good as before his illness. Ged frustrated the **** out of me sometimes.

During the end i remember seeing a PC with him where he lost the plot and said "the club want it to be like the 60's and 70's again and if they want that they can have it without me" then stormed off.

Ged had more money to spend than any liverpool manager and as a result of him blowing millions on ****e then us getting fa for them in sales Rafa is paying for it now with us being broke.

Should of signed Anelka, Duff and Van der sar

Don't forget the massive pay off he got after he left and how we lost **** loads on the likes of Diao, Diouf and Cheyrou. Crippled the club for ages and I think the club is still living with the consequences
