He's not doing too badly is he chaps? I know its only pre-season but you can see that the potential is there...

He has looked good so far, we also really needed a striker with speed for when Torres is being rested or injured. Think he fits the bill and is good to see he knows where the net is, was a bit worrying after his record last year.

From what I've seen so far (not much admittedly) he looks like a yound Anelka. Looks a bargain so far.

Hopefully he'll turn out to be a good player for us but don't judge him on preseason performances. Voronin looked good in preseason... and not many people are saying good things about him now!

It's only since last summer that we've put serious resources into the youth setup so we're hardly going to see massive results in one year. It's an ongoing process mate, you don't plant an acorn then dig it up a day later because you're pissed off you haven't got an oak tree.

yea i mumbled the same in another thread. clearly has a natural eye for goal, has pace and clearly skillful.

i think the signing of this boy, and going off his pre season form he will compete for the 1st team, has serious implications on babel. i know babel is touted as a forward but the few times i saw him there last year he looked positionally naive. ngog doesn't. babel's future is as the left or right side of 3 of a 4231 where he looks stronger.

a strikeforce of torres, keane, ngog and dare i say nemeth is as good as we've had in many years, since owen, heskey and anelka
