Probably because you won't accept facts, you are critical no matter what and it is very clear, that you want Rafa out no matter what.

its just you fail to see the obvious mate. you want to see improvement under rafa as we all do,fair?manure, chavs and gooner fans expect the same, so with every one pushing forward and improving sometimes its hard to see the improvement of your own side.

i still fail to believe that you think it would be as simple as a new manager for title success if rafa doesnt deliver this year, it will put us back five years mate.

We are currently leading the Premier League, is on to the next rounds of the CL, something we wouldn't dream of before Rafa is a quote by you, Clapper.

now go find me anywhere where i have said i want rafa out no matter what.

just 'cos i don't by into your revisionist nonsense eh clapper?

maybe its very clear that i'm actually old enough to remember us top of the league and qualified into the second stages of the champions league.

now stop making things up, quote me accurately or go stalk someone else.

i don't think it'll put us back 5 years but i see why you may think that. mainly because we have a far stronger squad than we have had since the evans era and yes rafa ha played his role in making this so.

one push and we can win the title imo, rafa can win it, but as they say 'fortune favours the brave', the 2nd half against arsenal for me showed that rafa is still too cautious and my fear is it'll cost us. not necessarily that one particular game but rather i see this as a rafa trait and one that'll cost us come the end of this season or indeed next.

fair enough, i take your point about the second half at the emirates but you have to remember that with an underachieving keane, kyut bless him, but he is no goal machine and ngog who is still way off addapting to the game there would of been a huge risk that a surge forward at them mentality would of left us open to the counter with nothing going in there end.

maybe it would of been different if torres of last year was leading the line, then rafa would of taken the gamble that if you through enough at them with torres there, against ten men it should be all 3 points.

how many times have the gooners gone down to ten men and lost?i honestly cant remember. that safe bet kept us top mate

It is clear, that you want him out even if you have not said the exact words.
I am clearly not the only one having that opinion.

Back to Ferguson, if it is considered a success winning a cup, why was he then critisized heavily and very close to getting fired if they still were in the cup?
He wouldn't be in any danger of getting fired as long as they were in the cup.

so now i want rafa out rather than out no matter what.

do you know what i'm having for breakfast today seeing as though u appear to be able to read my mind regardless of what i've actually said?

ferguson kept his job because he won the fa cup. were u even old enough to remember that time as you think we wouldn't even dream of being top of the league before rafa came?

I think you'll find that the vast majority of people with whom you disagree think the same thing as The Glove, i.e. they support Rafa as manager because there are clear signs of improvement in whole set up of the playing side of the club, the first team squad and, crucially, the league results of the first team.

I really urge you to bear this in mind when stating your opinion about Rafa and arguing with others on here.
                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Sammy Lee, speaking from a position of experience, seems to think Rafa is pretty good at what he does...

And having worked under Bob Paisley, Joe Fagan and Kenny Dalglish in the eighties, Lee is well qualified to assess the merits of the man currently in charge at Anfield.

"I've been fortunate to have worked with some of the best and Rafa is one of them, if not the best. I think he will prove to be the best of all of them," he said.

"I don't want to put any pressure on him but he’s fantastic and a terrific man to work with.

"He has the same principles this club has always had. All the managers have their own qualities and principles and it's been a joy for me to work with them all."
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

and if he goes then who do you replace him with?

You consistently ignore the financial aspect but if you think JM or MON for example would do any better with the resources avail then it's really tough to see your point of view.

Rafa has got the squad to the stage it is by more often than not buying second choice players - or at least second choice to the likes of United and Chelsea. It's been a very slow upgrade process. He's now got it the point where we are relatively strong in all areas and we can now spend bigger on fewer players.

It's in this period that the team can finally start to take off.

If you don't appreciate this point and want to see the team dismantled again then it's really tough to see and understand your point of view. It's your very black and white view that grates people as you say.

Has Rage or Sarb been around here much over the last few days? Funny how we anihilate Bolton and Newcastle playing champagne football and not a peep outta them. Thats says a lot.
                        Dare we believe

That's not really fair mate because rage was on certainly after the Newcastle win, and had plenty of positive things to say.

Sarb wasn't around for good reason.

Anyway, please lets not start the point scoring again.

To be fair to Sarb and Rage they both post with some positivity after a win, regardless of their viewpoint.

                              Is this thread still going?

We're on the verge of our biggest achievement in nearly 2 decades. Why is there even a debate on Rafa's position as manager? Bizaare.

Apologies. I didn't notice them around after the game. Not trying to score points just would like to discuss the positives with them aswell as the negatives.
