He did great today, I knew as soon as he realised a genuine wide player, players in their position would be a good start coupled with the right mentality. As soon as we lose one of those variables, usually due to his caution, then the **** will hit the fan. He did everything perfect today.

He`s been trying to sign a genuine wide player for 5 yrs.Simoa,Joaquin,Ronaldo,Alves,Malouda and Quaresma were all 1st choice targets for Rafa.now he`s eventually signed a good winger HIS plan is coming together.Not going to get into all off this again as you`ll move the goal posts as usual.I just wanted to hear you praise Rafael Benitez once.He masterminded a great result today.

Johnny, you, me and Rafa are all reds, we want one thing and that's for us to win league titles. I just feel Rafa needs to have us playing better football and I can't ask for more than today - we had width, passion, tempo, and the full backs were attacking game. We made the best team in Europe look ordinary... superb from everyone today but more so Rafa - he did it without his two best players too.
