As i've said, the Torres one was a clear chance. The Keane ones, half chances for me. Even if you count them, that's 3 chances in 90 mins against Stoke. Hardly upto scratch.

The Torres header was the best chance and on another day would've gone in, but the Keane ones were snap-shot half chances.
For example, the passing that opened the opportunity for Keane was "carving them open" IMO. All that was missing was the killing touch.

Not sure how many "CLEAR" chances you can expect when a team is basically defending with all their players in the box.
If you move the ball quicker, with a good tempo and produce decent movement in the final third, you'll create chances. We dont.

Let's see how many chelsea, man utd and arsenal create shall we?

Well, it's a valid point and your reply indicates that you dont really have an argument against it.

But no, let's settle for 4th again.

Just a reminder of the good old times when we used to open up defences as good as the brazilians.

Even 20% of that would be nice mate. Quick passing, good movement, attacking mentality, creativity oozing out of every pore.

                  Them were the days.

If you're allowed to talk out of yours, i'm free to use mine in whichever way i like.

Other than that, i have no clue what you're on about, so that's one thing we have in common.

                        I didn't mean talking.

We need to start dominating in games where the onus is on us to win, not just beating teams against the odds in two legs.

I will say it till I am blue in the face but Rafa's style of play is to blame no matter what players we have in the team.
I wonder why you keep repeating it. Every Est member already knows your opinion perfectly well. And the more you try to convince us, the more stubborn we get.

That was complete and utter domination yesterday - just no goals.

Compare it to the Boro game when we were totally hopeless, but snatched a win from the jaws of defeat.

The two games have evened themselves out.

Anyway, I find your constant whingeing very tiresome. There are 20 teams in our league. There is no God given right to win it. So please get a life.
                            Oh I don't know.

In Your Opinion Rash. You can repeat the same statement over and over on here but it won't make it any truer.Yesterdays result had nothing to do withtactics, we controlled the game for 90 mins and created countless chances. We were not clinical enough in front of goal. I have watched Arsenal,Chelsea and the Mancs struggle countless times against teams that turn up and put 11 men behind the ball. The whole "parking the bus in front of the goal" is a Mourinho analogy of a game the Chavs drew with Spurs. Just because Rafadoesnot play the Arsenal brand of football you crave does not mean there is no method to our attacking.
                              Dare we believe
